The following deaths have taken place:

- Bernard Kennedy, Ardara

Gerard Mulrine, Raphoe

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Gerard Mulrine known as Rocky, Aughnakeeragh, Raphoe F93T2W4.

Predeceased by his father Michael and sister Michelle; beloved son of Eileen; much-loved brother of Anne (Joe), Bernie (Gerard), Noreen (Roland), Aidan (Michaelina), Michael (Bronagh). He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, best friend Alison, wider family circle and many friends.

His remains are reposing at his family home, with the wake on Friday at 11am until the Rosary at 9pm. House private to family only please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe followed by burial in the old graveyard in Convoy.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director. 

Pearse Mc Garrigle, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Pearse Mc Garrigle, Nevada, USA and formerly or Castle Street and Drumcliffe, Donegal Town.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Anna and his brother Ciaran; sadly missed by his loving family, sister Geraldine, brother-in-law Dan, brother James and sister-in-law Marie and dear nephew Jamie, relatives and friends.

Following the recent cremation of Pearse in th e USA, Funeral Mass will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town, on Saturday at 2pm, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the Old Abbey Cemetery.

Patsy Doherty, Inver

The peaceful death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Patrick (Patsy) Doherty, Meenagran, Inver, County Donegal.

Predeceased by his parents Willie and Rosaleen, and his sisters Rosemarie and Kathleen; sadly missed by his wife Mary Florence, his son John Paudraig, brothers Michael and Liam, brothers-in-law Damien, Doug, Andy and Michael, sister-in-law Kate and Roseann, god-daughter Frances Norrby, his nieces and nephews, extended family and very many good friends and neighbours.

Reposal of his remains continues at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (F94 X02N) on Friday from 3pm until 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Donegal Hospice or St Vincent's University Hospital Dublin

Seamus McFadden, Falcarragh

The peaceful death has taken place of Seamus (Jack Rua) McFadden at his home, Moyra, Falcarragh, F92 CH27.

Predeceased by his wife Gracie, daughter Marie, parents Mary and John, brother Danny and sister Margorie, he will be sadly missed by his sons John (Winnie) and James (Maritta), grandchildren Gracemarie, Aidan, Orla and Shane, great-granddaughter Alannah and his sisters Mary, Sadie and Kathleen.

His remains are reposing at his late residence in Moyra, Falcarragh, Co Donegal F92 CH27 with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral will take place on Friday at 12 noon in Teach Phobail Naomh Fionán, Falcarragh Church F92 N6Y9, with burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on https://mcn.live/Camera/falcarragh-parish-church OR ParishRadio@106.5FM

Mary J McNelis, Ballyshannon and Mayo

The death has occured of Mary J McNelis, née O'Connor, Balure Lane, Coolcholly, Ballyshannon County Donegal and formerly of Sea Road, Ballycastle, County Mayo. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful nurses and staff at Áras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home Mullinasole.

Mary was a cherished mother to Nollaig (Chicago), Aoife (Ballyshannon), Herman Jnr (Dublin), Tim (Australia), and Sorcha (Cavan). Mary was a devoted sister to Michael Anthony O'Connor, Tom O'Connor (predeceased), and Fidelma Murphy. She will be deeply missed by her loving family: Herman Senior, mother-in-law Mary McNelis (Mrs Mac) Nollaig and Clay, Herman and Liz, Tim and Sandra, Sorcha and Eugene her beloved grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins extended family, kind neighbours and many dear friends.

Her remains will arrive in St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon on Friday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in Cashelard Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be accessed on the St Patrick's Church Ballyshannon webcam.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Patients' Comfort Fund, Áras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home c/o any family member or Peter Carty Funeral Director.

Bernard Kennedy, Ardara

The peaceful death has occurred of Bernard Kennedy, Carrickatleave, Ardara, in the gentle care of the staff of Killybegs Community Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Rose, née McIntyre, parents Arthur and Bridget, sister Helen and brother Patrick; beloved father of Bríd (Thomas) and Evelyn (Conn); sadly missed by his grandchildren Brían, Niall, Ruairí and Rosie; fondly remembered by his nephew Pat (Margaret), cousins, grand nephews and nieces and extended family.

House private on morning of funeral.

Removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, on Friday for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund, Killybegs Community Hospital, care of any family member.
