John (Johnny) Gallagher, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Gallagher, Higginstown, Ballyshannon, F94HP97.

He passed away peacefully in his residence surrounded by his caring family. Pre-deceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Joseph, sisters Moira and Patsy, granddaughter Shannon and grandson Cormac.

Beloved husband of Anna, devoted father to Gerard, Paul, Siobhán and Sinéad. Adoring grandfather of Sorcha, Patrick, Eoin, Shannon, Conor, Alana, Dermot, Evelyn, Aoife, Cormac, Dáire, Dearbhaile, Meara, Orlaith, John Raymond and Donnacha. Great grandfather of Rowan. Deeply regretted by his daughter-in-law Olivia, son-in-law Aaron, his sisters Teresa and Margaret, nieces and nephews.

Reposing at his late residence on Saturday, February 15 from 3pm to 7pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm.

Funeral arrangements to be announced later. All enquires can be made to Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon on 087 2485819.

A shuttle bus shall be in operation from St Joseph’s Church, The Rock to the wake house during wake times. House private at all other times.

Tracy Byrne, Glencolmcille and Dublin

The death has occurred of Tracy Byrne, Cashel, Glencolmcille and Clonee, Dublin.

She passed away on February 14 peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Will be sadly missed by her husband Phil Noble, her mother Maire, sister Claire (Georgi), brother Terence, nephew and godson Oisín (Siobhán), parents in law Damo and Marie, sister in laws Lorraine (Jim), Leanne (Darren) and brother-in-law Keith (Sarah), niece Brooke, nephews Ethan, Aaron, Nathan, Oisín, Harry and Bobby, her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her father Michael (Mickey Christy).

Reposing at St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown, Saturday, February 15 from 4pm to 6pm.

Removal from St Francis Hospice, Sunday, February 16 at 12 noon for arrival at her family home in Glencolmcille for 5pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday, February 17 at 11am in St Columbas Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille followed by private cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family home strictly private at all times. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown c/o Michael L Byrne Funeral Director or any family member.

Mary Furey, Ardara

The death has taken place of Mary Furey, Shasknagreena, Ardara, F94FP60.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Liam, children Billy (Ann), Connell, Lisa, Michael, Brenda (Reggie), Mena (John) and all her beloved grandchildren.

Remains reposing at McCabe’s Funeral, Ardara (F94VCk1) on Friday, February 14 from 5pm to 9pm followed by private removal to her late residence.

Funeral from there on Sunday, February 16 at 10:15am going to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family and friends only.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

Charles McDaid, Culdaff

The death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Charles McDaid (Neshie Ned), Millhouse, Templemoyle, Culdaff. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Anne Marie McLaughlin Glengad

The sudden death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Anne Marie McLaughlin (Crua), 2 Ballymena Cottages, Glengad (F93 P2E9).

Predeceased by her father Pat and her brother Martin. Beloved daughter of Kathleen and much-loved mother of Ollie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers Stephen (Mary) and John Gerard (Sinead), her niece Maya, her nephew Ross, aunties and uncles, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

AnneMarie’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh (F93 E4FN) on Friday, February 14 at 4pm going to her home.

Funeral from there on Sunday, February 16 at 9.40am for 10.30am funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Letterkenny University Hospital C/O any family member or Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director.

Bridget Gallagher, Glenties

The peaceful death has taken place at her residence of Bridget Gallagher, Altar, Glenties.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Eddie, son John, daughter-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister Mary. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen.

Bridget’s remains will repose at her residence on Friday, February  14 and Saturday 15 from 11am until 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral mass on Sunday at 2pm in St Connell’s Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/glenties.

Margaret O’Donnell, Creeslough

The death has taken place at her home of Margaret O’Donnell, Drimnaraw, Creeslough (F92X5W8).

Predeceased by her husband Edward, her daughter Catherine, her grandson James, and her granddaughter Paige.

Sadly missed by her daughters Ann Marie and Margaret her sons Joseph, Edward and Thomas, her sister Tisha, her son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at her home from 5pm on Thursday, February 13.

Funeral mass will take place in St Michael's Church Creeslough on Saturday, February 15 at 3pm with burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery. Family time please from 10pm until 11am.
