Noel Derrick, Bruckless

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Noel Derrick, Aighan, Bruckless.

Beloved husband of Dot, who was at his bedside when he peacefully passed away. Sadly missed by his son Michael and daughter Michelle, brother-in-law Paul, sisters-in -law Charmaine and Tina, his adoring grandchildren, extended family neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence on Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm. A one way system will be in operation for the duration of the wake. Enter at Barry Gallagher's Filling Station and exit at Mary Murrin's.

Private cremation will take on Monday at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Charlie Kearns, Raphoe

The peaceful death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice surrounded by his loving family of Charlie Kearns, Mullaghanney, Raphoe, F93 E62X.

Lovingly missed by his wife Bridget, daughters and sons Rosemary (Liam), Bernard (Jennifer), Charles, Declan, Damien (Caroline), Stephanie (Ryan), Gary (Marie), his 8 grandchildren Adam, Laticia, Aaron, Anna, Sophie, Keva, Jade and Chloe, his sister Sadie Patton and all his extended family and friends. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Margaret and sister Katie Crawford.

Charlie's remains will be reposing at his residence on Saturday from 11am to 10pm and Sunday from 11am to 10pm. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving his late residence Mullaghanney, Raphoe on Monday morning at 10.30am going to St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford, F93 X5TR for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed here

Eamonn Doherty, Convoy

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Eamonn Doherty, Magheranappan, Convoy, F93E8X2.

Predeceased by his mother Peggy and his father Paddy; beloved by husband of Katrina, loving father of Alicia (Matthew), Jack, Lorena (Paul), Gary (Kerry); devoted grandfather of Ellie, Max, Ru, Jess, Gryffin, Callum and Tommy. Eamonn will be sadly missed by his sisters Marian and Lorraine (Brendan), brothers Patrick (Brigeen) and Liam (Kathleen) his nieces, nephews and extended family circle, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral leaving his home on Sunday at 2pm for 2.30pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Odhrán O’Donnell, Churchill

The death has taken place of Odhrán O'Donnell, Cruckraw, Churchill, F92 AK54. He passed away peacefully at his late residence surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by parents Paul and Kathleen, sister Aisling and husband James, he is fondly remembered by his granny Grace, aunts, uncles, cousins, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposal of Odhrán’s remains continues at his late residence from 12pm until 10pm on Saturday. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Sunday morning going to St Colmcilles Church, Glendowan for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by interment in Templedouglas Cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/churchhill

John Cannon, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at his home of John Cannon, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny,F92 DFA0, retired Clerk of Works with Donegal County Council.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, in 2016, he is deeply regretted by his family, Fr Michael (Florida), Charlie (Anne) (Letterkenny), Seamus (Grace) (Creeslough), Patrick (Mary) (Letterkenny), Joe (Breda) (Donegal Town), Brian (Letterkenny), Eileen McCarron (Aidan) (Letterkenny), sister Una (Knock), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposal of his remains continues at his late residence on Saturday from 12 noon, concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Family time please, on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Sunday, going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 2pm Mass which can be viewed live on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

John Carron, Letterbarrow and Fermanagh

The death has occurred of John Carron, Selacis, Letterbarrow and formerly of Edenclaw, Ederney, County Fermanagh. He passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his father Jimmy, mother Cassie, sister Maggie and brother Oliver, he is sadly missed by his wife Mary B, stepchildren, Danny (deceased), Mary, Patsy, Brenda, Carmel, Anna and Mark, brother- in-law Fran, nieces Claire and Ciara, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

House strictly private.

Removal on Sunday morning to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Drimarone for Requiem Mass at 11am with internment afterwards in Edenclaw Cemetery, Ederney, County Fermanagh, approximate arrival for 3pm.

Leila Speer, née Patterson, Ramelton and Canada

The death has taken place in Vancouver, Canada of Leila Speer, née Patterson, wife of the late William Speer, formerly of Cashelshanaghan, Ramelton.

Daughter of the late Samuel John and Isa Patterson. Predeceased by her sisters Sadie Mitchell and Millie Mitchell also her brother Jim Patterson.; lovingly remembered by her son Ren, daughter-in-law Marilyn, grandson Brendan and Danna. Cherished sister of Isabel Hanna (Armagh), brother Mervyn Patterson and his wife Zoe (Portstewart), brother Winston Patterson and his wife Cynthia (Ballindrait) and sister-in-law Wendy, wife of the late Jim Patterson (Castlefin).

A service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place in Donoughmore Presbyterian Church, Castlefinn, F93 DK40 on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Rosha Winnie Ferry, Annagry

The death has taken place of Rosha Winnie Ferry, Culacrick, Annagry, F94 P8X8. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, son-in-law Paddy Barry, sister Bridget, brothers Eddie, John and Danny, she is survived by her nephew Pata Coyle, son Padraig (Síle), daughters Anne, Una (Joe), Breid, Sadie, Moya (Andy) Kells, sisters Annie Gweedore and Sally Dungloe, grandchildren Aisling, Shauna, Marion, James, Darren, Róisín and Ciarán and seven greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Paddy McDonald, Quigley's Point

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital, in his 95th year, of Patrick (Paddy) McDonald, Three Trees, Quigleys Point, F93 P590.

Predeceased by his loving wife Bridie, much-loved father of Michael, Tommy (Marie), Paddy (Bridgeen), David (Bernadine), Rose (Frank) and James (Jean). A devoted grandfather to his 14 grandchildren and his great-grandson.

Patrick's remains are reposing at his home. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

Mary Ward, Ballintra and Dublin

The death has occurred peacefully in North West Hospice, of Mary Ward, née O'Brien, Drumnacroil, Ballintra, and formerly of Kiltipper, Tallaght, County Dublin.

Sadly missed by her sons Patrick (Cara) and Seamus and grandson Seamus, brother-in-laws Gerry, Domnic, Christy, Mary is predeceased by her husband Patrick, sisters Grace (Charlie Mc Daid) and Margaret (Brendan Gallagher), brothers-in-Law Benny and Seamus Ward

Mary Hegarty, Glencolmcille

The death has taken place of Mary Hegarty, née Gallagher, Malinmore, Glencolmcille.

Predeceased by her husband Frank, daughter Irene, grandson Emmet, son-in-Law Peter (Australia) and her brothers (Kilcar), Mary is very sadly missed by her loving family: James (Nancy), Brian (Anne), Frank (Mary), Bernadette (Australia), Bridie (Sean), Michael (Margaret) New York, Teresa (Jimmy), Patrick (Lorraine), Nora (Paul) UK, Noel (Anna), Paul (Anne), her 32 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and her niece Rose Gallagher (Dublin).

Her remains are reposing her late residence at Malinmore, Glencolmcille, F94 KP21.
