Gerard Hannaway, Buncrana

The death has taken place peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, of Gerard Hannaway, Bunrana. 

Beloved son of the late Alfy, Mary and Susan, much loved brother of Sheila and Mary and the late Alfin and Sean. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle.

Dolores Devenney, Letterkenny and Laghey

The unexpected death has occurred of former Letterkenny University Hospital nurse Dolores Devenney, 28 Fernhill, Letterkenny and formerly of Laghey. 

Predeceased by her mother, Evelyn, and father, Bernard. Sadly missed by her sisters, Margaret (Bullen), Nuala (Lowther), Edel (McNeely), and her brothers Brian and Thomas, brothers-in-law John (Bullen)and Bernard (McNeely), her cousin Maura (Tunney), nieces Samantha (Lowther and family) & Rhiannon (McNeely).

Sheila Muldoon, Tyrone and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully at Melmount Manor, of Sheila Muldoon, née Mc Alinden, Gortin, Tyrone and formerly of Donegal.

Beloved wife of the late Sean and devoted mother of Brian (Imelda), Gerry (Ann), Peter (Sue), Jojo (Bruce), Conor (Stephanie), Declan (Sarita) and the late Anne (Tommy). Dear sister of Anne and the late Joseph and twins Philip and Noel who died in infancy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughter, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and entire family circle.

Sheila’s remains will repose at her late residence, 7 Culvacullion Road Gortin BT79 8NJ on Friday and Saturday from 12 noon until 10pm.

Funeral from there on Sunday December at 11.15am going to St Patrick’s Church Gortin for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Annette Kelly, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Annette Kelly, née Boyce, 13, Knocknamona Park, Lettterkenny, F92 Y75C, after a short illness in the Beacon Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved wife of Dessie Kelly, much loved mother of Mary (Gerard Forde), Elaine (Julian Maguire), Linda (Brendan Doherty), Yvonne MacBride, Frankie and Jen, Damien and Eimer, Antoinette (John Clifford). Predeceased by her grandson Liam (Boston USA), son-in-law Danny MacBride and her sister Breid Duffy.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence on Thursday from 6 pm to 9pm and Friday from 11am to 9pm, concluding with Rosary on both nights at 9 pm. Family time please on the morning of funeral

Funeral from there on Saturday 30th November, going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Tim McCafferty, Ballyshannon and Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Tim McCafferty, 616 Loughshore Road, Corry, Belleek, County Fermanagh BT93 3DE and formerly of Lissahully, Ballyshannon. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham surrounded by his loving family on November 18. 

Deeply loved and sadly missed by his wife Marie, children Una (John), Gloria (Christopher), Gemma (Martin), Timothy (Laura), Ursula (Anthony), Matthew (Nessa); grandchildren Darragh, Jack, Mischa, Bronagh, Conor, Matthew, James, Sarah, Eoin, Ruairi, Cormac, Emmett, Aoife and is predeceased by baby Jonathan. Tim is also deeply regretted by his brothers Sean, Michael, Jim and Harry.

Tim's remains are reposing at 616 Loughshore Road, Corry, Belleek, County Fermanagh BT93 3DE on Thursday from 2pm to 9pm with house private to family and friends at all other times. In the interests of safety no parking at the McCafferty house please; park and ride available from the Jolly Farmers car park.

His remains will arrive in St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon, on Saturday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery, Ballyshannon.

Josie McGee, Creeslough

The death has taken place of Joe (Josie) McGee, Massinass, Creeslough.

Missed by his beloved wife, children Darren, Charlene, Oran, Keelan and Aoibhean, grandchildren, Lara and Luan, Sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home (F92 E6F5) on Thursday from 12noon to 10pm, and on Friday from 11am to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral, please.

Funeral Mass in St Michael's Church, Creeslough, on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in Doe Graveyard. Mass can be viewed live on https://mcn.live/Camera/st-michaels-church

Anne Reardon, Clonmany, Tipperary and Dublin

The death has taken place of Anne Reardon, née Lynch, Ballycrehane, Aherlow, Tipperary and formerly of  Glasnevin, Dublin and Clonmany. Anne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and her devoted twin sister at Cluain Arann Community Nursing Home, Tipperary.

Beloved wife of Liam (William) and much loved mother of John, Declan, Billy and Evelyn. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Bríd, Mary, Catherine and Antoinette, grandchildren Micheál, Clíona, Evan, Eoin, Nia, Kate, Max, Cara, Daniel, Muireann, Isla, Hannah, Meadhbh and William, sister-in-law Helen (Healy), brothers-in-law Michael and Lou (Reardon), Michael (Grehan), Jim (Brady) and Hugh (Durnin), nephew Cormac, niece Sinéad, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of wonderful friends.

Her remains are lying in repose in our Chapel of Peace at Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally, County Limerick, E34 AE22 on Friday from 6 to 8pm followed by Evening Prayers.

Reception on Saturday into Church of the Sacred Heart, Lisvernane, Glen of Aherlow, County Tipperary for Requiem Mass at 11am after which Anne will be laid to rest in the Church grounds.

Eileen Clancy, Dublin and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital, of Eileen Clancy, née Cullen, Coolock and formerly of Donegal.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick (Paddy) and loving mother of Kevin, Rachel, Mark, Stephen and Tanya. Very sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Chloe, Andrew, Cillian, Dani, Darci, Cúan, brothers Pat, Christopher and sister Dorothy, sister-in-law Theresa, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Her remains are reposing at Jennings Funeral Home Oscar Trainer Road, Coolock on Friday from 2pm to 4pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St Joseph the Artisan, Greencastle Road, Bonnybrook arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 12.30pm.

Samuel Hunter, Lifford and Milford

The death has taken place of Samuel Hunter as a result of a Road Traffic Accident, Murlog, Lifford formerly of Cranford, Milford.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife Dolores, sisters Ila and Evelyn, sisters- and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and wider family circle.

His remains are reposing at his home on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. House private, family, friends and neighbours welcome.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 12.30pm for 1pm funeral service in Ballindrait Presbyterian Church with burial afterwards in the family plot in Milford Presbyterian church graveyard. 

Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to Intensive Care Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member or Terence Mc Clintock, Funeral Director.

Rosemary O Donnell, Lettereknny

The peaceful death has occurred in the Larissa Lodge, Letterkenny, surrounded by her loving family of Rosemary O Donnell, 21 Dr Mc Ginley Road, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by her loving husband James, brother Brendan and sister Breedge, Rosemary will be forever missed by her sons Daniel, Brendan(Kylie), Christopher, Micheal, daughter AnneMarie(Ralph), grandchildren Kerry, Chloe, Dylan, Lucy, Cayden and Sienna.

Reposal of her remains continues at her late residence from 12 noon to 9pm on Thursday, with  Rosary at 9pm. Family time after the Rosary and on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Irene Wilson, Tyrone and Convoy

The death has taken place at the Foyle Hospice of Irene Wilson, née McClure, 9 Dublin Road, Strabane and formerly of Convoy.

Beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of Lynn, Sheree and Wendy, dearly loved grandmother of Alana, Charlotte and Jenna and sister of Jim.

Funeral leaving Quigley's Funeral Home on Thursday at 3pm to Christ Church, Bowling Green. House strictly private please.

A Service of Thanksgiving will take place on Friday at 1pm followed by interment in Urney Cemetery.

Bridie Dawson, Donegal, Dublin and Wexford

The death has taken place of Bridie Dawson, née Dodd, in Donegal and formerly of Perrystown, Dublin and Cahore, Wexford.

Bri passed over to join Dermot and Rhona. She will be missed by her daughter Carol (Carbin), grandson Gav, son-in-law Chris, sisters Martha, Margaret and Kay, sisters-in-law Marie and Maura, brother-in-law Tony, nephews, nieces and friends. She will specially be missed by Brendan, who has looked after Bri since Rhona passed and her carers, particularly Caroline.

Requiem Mass on Friday in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 9.45am. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 arriving for 11.30am Cremation Service.

Ryan Marcus Gallagher, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred nexpectedly at his home, of Ryan Marcus Gallagher, Assaroe View Ballyshannon. 

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Mark and Linda, brothers Leigh and Alan, sister Chloe, relatives and many friends. 

His remains are reposing at McGee's funeral home on Thursday evening from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal from the funeral home on Friday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for 11am Funeral Mass. Interment will take place afterwards in the Abbey Assaroe cemetery.
