Maria Gallagher, Burtonport, Donegal

The death has occurred of Maria Gallagher (née Mannion) Lower Keadue, Burtonport, Donegal, F94YT97 and formerly of Barrack Street, Dunmore, Co Galway.

Loving wife of Patrick Gallagher (Frank) and stepmother to Declan (Lisa), Noreen (Martin) and Angela (Patrick)

Sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren

Predeceased by parents Patrick and Bridie Mannion brothers Jim, Pat, Niall, Richard, Stephan and the late John Bosco

Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces and a large circle of friends.

Wake will take place at McGlynn's funeral home, Dungloe on Tuesday October 9 from 3pm, with rosary at 8pm followed by removal to her home in Keadue. Wake on Thursday from 11am to 10pm. Funeral will take place on Friday 11am at St Mary's Chapel, Kincasslagh folllowed by interment at Belcruit cemetery.

Daniel Brogan, Rocktown, Falcarragh

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Daniel (Danny) Brogan, Rocktown, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by his parents; Sarah and James Brogan, sister Mary, brother Hugh and twin brother Paddy.

His remains will be received at Finian's Church, Falcarragh at 6pm tomorrow evening (Wednesday,9th) to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Thursday, interment afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Stephanie Gallagher, Dublin and Annagry

The death has taken place of Stephanie Gallagher, Firhouse, Dublin 24.

Loving and much-loved mother of Stephen and grandmother of Owen and McKenna. Stephanie will be forever loved and dearly missed by her son and family, her sisters Ethel (Byrne), Finola (Meskell), Olivia (Connolly), Mary (Dunphy), brothers John, Damien, Ivor and Desmond, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, her dear friend Louise, her special neighbours the Edge and Reaney families, extended family and friends.

Removal from her residence on Thursday morning October 10 to the Church of Our Lady of Mt Carmel, Firhouse arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral cortege will leave for Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Annagry with expected the time of arrival at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 am with burial thereafter in adjoining Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to St Patrick’s Missionary Society.

Neil Crawford, Burt

The death has occurred of Neil Crawford. He passed away peacefully at his home, Oakleaves Care Centre, 42 Racecourse Road. Formerly of Burt. Beloved son of the late Bridget and Johnny Crawford and brother of Sean, Cathal, Cecilia, Pauline and the late Bobby and Agnes. Will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and staff at Oakleaves Care Centre and caring beloved friend Pauline.

Neil's remains will be reposing at Oakleaves Care Centre and the family wish this time to be private. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Brigid's Church, Carnhill on Thursday at 10am. Interment afterwards in St Aengus' cemetery, Burt.

Ron Smith, Ballyliffin

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Ron Smith, 10 Rossaor Cottages, Ballyliffin, Clonmany, F93V6P7.

Beloved Husband of Margaret Smith (Doherty).

Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Mary Doherty, nieces, nephews, friends and the wider family circle.

His remains will be reposing at the family home in Ballylifin on Wednesday, October 9 from 3pm till 8pm where you are welcome to pay your respects.

His remains will be going to Lakeland Crematorium, Co Cavan on Thursday, October 10 for for private cremation.

John Doherty, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Carndonagh Hospital of John Doherty (Copper) 3 Rockfield Terrace, Buncrana.

Son of the late John and Rose RIP, brother of Mary McLaughlin (Alex) and the late Pat RIP(Rosemary). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, family circle and friends.

Remains will repose at his residence from 1pm on Tuesday, October 8.

Funeral from there on Thursday, October 10 at 10.20am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

House private from 11pm to 10am.

Family flowers only donations in lieu to Carndonagh Community Hospital patients care fund.

Ann Comerford, Ballybofey

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, of Ann Comerford, nee Ward, 74 the Beeches, Ballybofey, and formerly of Stranorlar.

Beloved daughter of the late Con and Brigid Ward, much loved mother of Barry, Lynn, Judy, and Susie, cherished sister of Bernard, Roisin, Mary, Marie, and the late John. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her, son, daughters, brother, sisters, brothers in law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, and very many friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest Ballybofey, on Tuesday, October8  from 5pm until rosary at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, October 9 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am, with Cremation on Thursday October 10  at Lakelands. Crematorium, Cavan, at 4.30pm.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish Webcam.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, directly to the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny via the link or care of any family member.

Bridget Mangan, Dublin and Killybegs

The death has occurred of Bridget Mangan (née Ward) Malahide, Dublin and formerly of Roughra, Killybegs.

She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim.

Very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons John, Stephen and Patrick, son-in-law Des, daughters-in-law Liz and Orla, her adored grandchildren, Claire, Mark, Vineeta, Adam, Jack, Max, Zac and Toby, sisters Suzanne and Phyllis, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Funeral arrangements later.

Hugh Mc Fadden, Ramelton

The peaceful death has taken place in Ramelton Community Hospital of Hugh Mc Fadden, Green Lane, Ramelton.

Predeceased by his wife Peg. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Mary, Mairéad, Áine, Aideen and Jean, sons-in-law Colin, Mark, Daniel, Ian and Barry, grandchildren, brother-in-law Séan Mc Cormack, sister-in-law Sr Anne Mc Cormack, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the residence of his daughter Mary Mc Fadden, Rectory Road, Ramelton, F92 KD81 on Monday October 7 from 7pm until 11pm and on Tuesday October 8th from 11am until 11pm.

Funeral mass on Wednesday, October 9 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Thomas Joseph, Muff

The death has taken place of Thomas Joseph, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, late of Mullanban, Muff.

Dearly beloved Brother of Alex and dear Brother-in-law of Violet. Uncle to Wendy. Deeply regretted by his loving family circle

John Collins, Moville 

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of John Collins, Malin Road, Moville F93 K83H.

Beloved Husband of Mary and much loved Father of Jessica and Séan and a devoted Grandfather of Liam, Molly, and Nora.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister and brothers, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

John’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN at 7pm on Monday, Octoner 7 going to his home where you are welcome to pay you respects from 7.30pm to 10pm and from 11am to 9pm on Tuesday.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 9 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by burial in Ballybrack Graveyard.

Barney McNulty, Creeslough

The death has taken place in Falcarragh Community Hospital, of Barney Mc Nulty, 14 St Michael’s Terrace, Creeslough, Co Donegal, formerly Faymore, Creeslough.

Survived by his brother Jim (Wales), and his sister Bridget (Newcastle, England), his sister in Laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

His remains will be reposing at the home of his nephew, John Mc Nulty, Kilmackloo, Creeslough (F92 Y398) from 6 pm to 10 pm this evening, Monday, October 7, and on Tuesday from 12 noon to 10 pm.

Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough, on Wednesday, October 9, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Doe Graveyard.

Susan Padmore, Ballybofey

The death has taken place at her home of Susan Padmore (née O`Reilly), 55 The Park, Ballybofey and formerly of Derry.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fred), much loved mother of Russell, Kevin, Keiron and the late Lisa and Sean and sister of Raymond, Charlie, Moya, Martin, Annie, Tina and the late Teddy, Lawrence, Brian, Don and Peggy.

Reposing at her home, 55 The Park, Ballybofey on Tuesday, October 8 from 3pm to 9pm. Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Long Tower, Derry on Wednesday at 10am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.

Rhoda Buchanan, Churchill

The death has occurred of Rhoda Buchanan (née Hunter), Socker, Trentagh, Churchill, Donegal, F92 AX2N.
She passed away unexpectedly at her late residence.

Predeceased by husband Jim (2013). Rhoda will sadly missed by her family, many friends and neighbours.

Rhoda remains will repose at her late residence on Tuesday, October 8 from 11am to 10pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 9 for service in Trentagh Presbyterian Church at 2pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Barry Breslin, Kilcar 

The tragic death has occurred of Barry Breslin following an accident in Perth, Australia.

Beloved father to his son Tommy. Sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth and Hazel) and Shane (Gerard).

House private until further notice.
