Bridget Mangan, Dublin and Killybegs

The death has occurred of Bridget Mangan (née Ward) Malahide, Dublin and formerly of Roughra, Killybegs.

She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim.

Very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons John, Stephen and Patrick, son-in-law Des, daughters-in-law Liz and Orla, her adored grandchildren, Claire, Mark, Vineeta, Adam, Jack, Max, Zac and Toby, sisters Suzanne and Phyllis, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Funeral arrangements later.

Hugh Mc Fadden, Ramelton

The peaceful death has taken place in Ramelton Community Hospital of Hugh Mc Fadden, Green Lane, Ramelton.

Predeceased by his wife Peg. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Mary, Mairéad, Áine, Aideen and Jean, sons-in-law Colin, Mark, Daniel, Ian and Barry, grandchildren, brother-in-law Séan Mc Cormack, sister-in-law Sr Anne Mc Cormack, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the residence of his daughter Mary Mc Fadden, Rectory Road, Ramelton, F92 KD81 on Monday October 7 from 7pm until 11pm and on Tuesday October 8th from 11am until 11pm.

Funeral mass on Wednesday, October 9 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Thomas Joseph, Muff

The death has taken place of Thomas Joseph, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, late of Mullanban, Muff.

Dearly beloved Brother of Alex and dear Brother-in-law of Violet. Uncle to Wendy. Deeply regretted by his loving family circle

Visitors welcome to Adair and Neely Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8 between 6pm and 8pm. 

Funeral service in Knowhead Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, October 9 at 1.30pm followed by burial in Muff Parish Churchyard.

John Collins, Moville 

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of John Collins, Malin Road, Moville F93 K83H.

Beloved Husband of Mary and much loved Father of Jessica and Séan and a devoted Grandfather of Liam, Molly, and Nora.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister and brothers, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

John’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN at 7pm on Monday, Octoner 7 going to his home where you are welcome to pay you respects from 7.30pm to 10pm and from 11am to 9pm on Tuesday.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 9 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by burial in Ballybrack Graveyard.

Barney McNulty, Creeslough

The death has taken place in Falcarragh Community Hospital, of Barney Mc Nulty, 14 St Michael’s Terrace, Creeslough, Co Donegal, formerly Faymore, Creeslough.

Survived by his brother Jim (Wales), and his sister Bridget (Newcastle, England), his sister in Laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

His remains will be reposing at the home of his nephew, John Mc Nulty, Kilmackloo, Creeslough (F92 Y398) from 6 pm to 10 pm this evening, Monday, October 7, and on Tuesday from 12 noon to 10 pm.

Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough, on Wednesday, October 9, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Doe Graveyard.

Susan Padmore, Ballybofey

The death has taken place at her home of Susan Padmore (née O`Reilly), 55 The Park, Ballybofey and formerly of Derry.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fred), much loved mother of Russell, Kevin, Keiron and the late Lisa and Sean and sister of Raymond, Charlie, Moya, Martin, Annie, Tina and the late Teddy, Lawrence, Brian, Don and Peggy.

Reposing at her home, 55 The Park, Ballybofey on Tuesday, October 8 from 3pm to 9pm. Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Long Tower, Derry on Wednesday at 10am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. The requiem Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam.

Rhoda Buchanan, Churchill

The death has occurred of Rhoda Buchanan (née Hunter), Socker, Trentagh, Churchill, Donegal, F92 AX2N.
She passed away unexpectedly at her late residence.

Predeceased by husband Jim (2013). Rhoda will sadly missed by her family, many friends and neighbours.

Rhoda remains will repose at her late residence on Tuesday, October 8 from 11am to 10pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 9 for service in Trentagh Presbyterian Church at 2pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Jimmy McGrory, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Jimmy McGrory, Raforker, Donegal Town. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, children Joanne(Enda), Canice(Diane), Margaret(Raza), James(Joan), Matthew (Sian).

Sadly missed by his sisters Nuala(Eamonn), Marie(Michael), and grandchildren Ashar, Luke, Kate and Patrick and all his relatives neighbours and Friends.

His remains will repose at his home (EF94 WTX2) on Sunday, October 6 from 3pm to 7pm, followed by rosary, and on Monday, October 7 from 3pm to 5pm. House strictly private thereafter.

Removal to St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town at 6.30 pm to arrive at 7pm on Monday, October 7.

Liam McCloskey, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Letterkenny of Liam McCloskey, Ard Caorthainn, Kiltoy, Letterkenny F92 W2FE.

Deeply missed by his loving family, daughters Eithne, Bernadette, Orla Foster and Derbhle Gould, sons Pearse, Enda, Garvan and Conor, 19 grandchildren, brother John (Letterkenny), sister MaryEllen (Nottingham, England) sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Liam is predeceased by his wife Mary, brothers and sisters Eddie, Bridie, Anton, Paddy, Phia and Annie.

Liam’s remains will be reposing at his late home on Sunday, October6 from 6pm until 9pm and on Monday, October 7 from 12 noon until 9pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Tuesday, October 8 at 10.30am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live here. Interment afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill F92 C8C5.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Society of St Vincent de Paul c/o any family member.

Anthony (Tony) Toye, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Anthony (Tony) Toye, 14 The Grange, Letterkenny F92 CH9W.

Reposing at his late residence from 5pm to 10pm on Sunday, October 6 and from 12pm to 10pm on Monday, October 7. Rosary at 9pm on both nights. Family time on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 8 at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Eileen Fletcher, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, of Eileen Fletcher, 11 Cluain Mhuire, Buncrana F93 D7P2.

Pre-deceased by her husband Seamus and daughter Evelyn. Much-loved mother of Liam, Jim, John, Mark, Brendan and Keith and dear sister of Madge Donaghue and Rose Porter.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, her extended family, friends and neighbours.

Eileen’s remains will be reposing at her home where you are welcome to pay your respect. Family time please from 11.00pm to 10.00am and on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from there on Tuesday, October 8 at 10:15am to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Madge McBride, Brinlack

The death has taken place of Madge McBride (Madgie Dan) in the Donegal Hospice.

Her remains will repose at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny from 1pmto 2pm on Sunday, October 6.

Removal from there going to her late residence at Brinlack, F92 F8P8 to repose. Rosary both nights at 8pm.

House private after Rosary until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place in St Colmcille’s Church, Knockfola at 12 noon on Tuesday, October 8, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice.

Francis Harrigan, Quigley's Point

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Francis (Frank) Harrigan, Drung, Quigleys Point F93 VXOC.

Predeceased by his wife Lizzie Harrigan.

Beloved brother of Bernadette (Bunny), and brother-in-law of Bridie and a much-loved uncle, friend and neighbour.

Reposing at his home.  Family time from 10pm to 11am please.

Funeral from there on Tuesday, October 8 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drung followed by Interment in Drung Cemetery.

Barry Breslin, Kilcar 

The tragic death has occurred of Barry Breslin following an accident in Perth, Australia.

Beloved father to his son Tommy. Sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth and Hazel) and Shane (Gerard).

House private until further notice.
