Kevin Daly, Fahan
The peaceful death has taken place at his home surrounded by his loving family of Kevin Daly, Fort View, Fahan.

Predeceased by his loving Son Gavin, brother Raymond and Mother Kathleen, sorely missed and loved by his loving wife Isabella, sons Aaron and Ruari, Daughter Katie Louise and Brother Brian, and wider family circle and friends.

His remains will repose at his late residence from 3pm Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday, August, 18. Family time please from 9pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral. Anthony McGlynn, Cloghan
The peaceful death has taken place of Anthony McGlynn, Ardlaghan, Cloghan, at his home, Surrounded by his loving family. Beloved Husband of Grace and much loved father of Patrick, Conal (Imelda) and the late Cathal, Grandchildren Mathew and Dylan Cherished brother of Mary Prendergast and husband Joe and his nephew Anthony Melbourne, Australia.

Anthony's remains are reposing at his son Conal's home, Upper Brockagh, Eircode F93E7DO. Funeral leaving at 10:30am on Monday for requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual, Succour, Glenfin, with interment afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery. Family time from 10pm to 11am. Requiem Mass can be viewed on the Parish Webcam.

Jean Cole (née Quinn), Raphoe
The death has taken place at Lettekenny University Hospital on Friday 16th August 2024 of Jean Cole née Quinn, 14 Meadow Hill, Raphoe F93 NV20.

Deeply missed by her loving husband Jackie, daughters Ann and Jacqueline, son John and wife Sinead, grandchildren Samantha and husband Garry, Debbie, Noah and Jake, great-grandchildren Stephaine, Jack, Tyler and Garry, brother Danny and sister Celine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Jean’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Saturday from 6pm until 10pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Monday, August 19, at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed online. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time on the morning of the funeral please. Family flowers only please.

Margaret Cavanagh (née McLaughlin), Greencastle
The death has taken place at her home following a Long Illness of Margaret Cavanagh (Neé McLaughlin), The Cairn, Drumaweir, Greencastle F93 YPW2. Beloved Wife of Patsy and much loved Mother of Cathal, Claire, Shauna and Tricia

Devoted Nana of Caoimhe, Keenan, Callum, Billy, Amy, Dáire, Jamie, Ruairí, Pádraic and Grace. Predeceased by her Brothers Eamonn and Andrew.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons-in-law, William, Colm and Ronan, her Brother Michael, her Sisters Sadie, Ann Marie, Therese, Caroline and Josephine, her Nieces and Nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. May Margaret rest in Peace.

House private this evening with family time from 10pm to 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral from there at 10.30pm on Monday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Ballybrack, followed by burial in Ballybrack Graveyard.

Annie Doherty, Redcastle
The death has taken place at the home of Annie Doherty, Bankhead, Tullyally, Redcastle F93 P868. Beloved Wife of James and much loved Mother of Geraldine and Noel. A Devoted Granny of Stephen, Rachel, Edel and Darragh and Great Granny of Lillie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter-in-law, Martina, her nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. May Annie rest in Peace.

Annie's remains are now reposing at her home where you are all welcome to pay your respects. Funeral from there at 12.30pm on Sunday for 1pm Funeral Mass in St Columba's Church, Drung, followed by Interment in Drung Graveyard. Funeral Mass can be viewed live online. Family time from 10pm to 11am.

Donnachadh McGarvey, Corveen, Derrybeg
Fuair Donnachadh Mac Gairbhigh (Donnachadh Ned Mhóir) as an Chorbhín, bás tobann sa bhaile inniú, an 16ú Lúnasa.

Dhéanfar é a fhaire sa bhaile Dé Sathairn ón 3 - 8 a chlog agus arís Dé Domhnaigh ón 12 - 8 a chlog. Beidh an paidrín an dá oíche ag a 8 a chlog.

Cuirfear é i Reilig Mhachaire Gathlán Dé Luain i ndiaidh Aifreann Tórraimh i dTeach Pobail Mhuire, Na Doirí Beaga ag a 11 a chlog. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Donnachadh Mc Garvey, Corveen, Derrybeg. Predeceased by his parents; Ned and Máire, sisters; Méabha (Ripperger), Bella (Sanzone), Máire (Coyle) and his brother Joe Coll. Sadly missed by his sister Gracie Rennix (Cavan), brother-in-law Micheal Coyle (Ardsbeg), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

His remains will repose at his home on Saturday from 3pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

Margaret Phillips, Louth and Ballyshannon
The death has occurred of Margaret Phillips (née Gallagher) Cornamucklagh, Omeath, Louth, A91 X8EX and Ballyshannon.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Cherished wife of the late Patrick and devoted mother of Roisin, Seamus, Martina, Ciaran and the late Moyra and Patricia.

Margaret’s remains will repose at her son Ciaran’s residence, Cornamucklagh, A91 X8EX. Funeral on Sunday at 9am to arrive for 10am Requiem Mass in the Church of St Laurence, Omeath. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Niamh and Sheila, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Anna and Jean, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.

Philip Curran, Dublin and Gweedore
The death has taken place of Philip Curran, Raheny, Dublin and Carrickmacafferty, Gweedore. Predeceased by his mother Noreen Curran from Raheny, Dublin.

Sadly missed by his father Thomas Curran from Carrickmaccafferty Gweedore, his brother Niall, sister Lorna and extended family.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday, August 17 at St Mary’s Church, Derrybeg, with burial afterwards at Magheragallon Graveyard.

Joe McCafferty, Sydney, Australia and Dunlewey
The death has occurred on September 8, 2021 of Joe McCafferty of Sydney, Australia and formerly of Dunlewey, Gweedore.

Predeceased by his brothers John, Hughie, Tim and Dominic and his sisters; Biddy, Hannah and Annie.

Sadly missed by his brother Colm (Pádraig Columba) in Dunlewey, his sister Gráinne Phillips in Nottingham and his daughter Joanne and grandchildren Mitchell and Jonah in Australia. His funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey on Saturday, August 17 at 11am with interment of his ashes afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Moses Buchanan, Buncrana
The death has taken place at his late residence of Moses Buchanan, Meenagory, Buncrana, F93 HC91.

Deeply saddened by his passing are his loving wife Christine, sons Moses and Samuel and daughter Catherine; daughters-in-law, son-in-law and cherished grandchildren; brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.

Funeral leaving from his late residence at 11.45am on Saturday, August 17, going to Christ Church, Buncrana for Service at 12.30pm with burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please.

Ann Kirby, Malin Head
The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Ann Kirby, Carnmalin, Malin Head, F93 Y4EF
Predeceased by her husband Liam and son Jerry.

Much loved Mother of Deirdre (Joe), Jim (Ronnie), Desmond (Kathy), Ann Marie and Aidan (Leanne) and a devoted Granny to all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her Daughter in Law, Breege Kirby, Sisters in Law, Mary Brady and Sheila Griffin, her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Funeral at 12.30pm on Sunday, August 18 for 1pm Funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head, followed by burial in Lagg Graveyard. Family time from 11pm to 11am

James Hunter, Creeslough
The sudden death took place in London on August 5 2024 of James Hunter, late of 55 Massinass, Creeslough, Co Donegal. Funeral Mass will take place in London on August 27 2024 followed by cremation. James will be sadly missed by his family and friends in Donegal and the UK.

Keith Bates, Burnfoot
The sudden death has occurred of Keith Bates, Dundrain, Burnfoot F93KX34.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Clare, son Alan (Charlene) and daughters Georgina (Jason), Tegan, Jadyn, Keisha and Rionagh. Grandchildren Mackenzie, Logan and Sophie.

He will be deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters and wider family circle. Keith is predeceased by his parents Sarah and Moses.

Funeral on Saturday at 2pm funeral service in Burt Presbyterian Church with burial afterwards in St Ninian’s Church graveyard Convoy (F93HR20). Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Thomas Doherty, Scotland and Stranorlar
The death has occurred at St Andrew's Hospice of Thomas Doherty, formerly of Drumboe Lower, Stranorlar, and late of Gilmourton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Beloved husband of Lorna, father of son Callum and daughter Eilidh, son of Paddy and Toni Doherty, cherished brother of Gerard (Jacqueline), Elizabeth (Stephen), and Stephen (Katie). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by brother-in-law Scott, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and friends.

Thomas’s remains are reposing at Strathaven Funeralcare, 54 Waterside St, Strathaven ML10 6AW on Tuesday, 20th August, from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral service will be at 10.00am on Wednesday, 21st August, at The Epicentre, Townhead St, Strathaven ML10 6DJ followed by burial at 12pm at Glebe Cemetery, Manse Rd, Stonehouse, Larkhall ML9, Manse Rd.

The family will gather at the Radstone Hotel, 3 Ayr Rd, Shawsburn, Larkhall ML9 2TZ after the burial. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
