Benedict (Benny) Mooney, Killybegs
The death has occurred of Benedict (Benny) Mooney, The Hill, Killybegs, Donegal, F94 HR70. He passed away peacefully at Donegal Hospice. Benny will be sorely missed by his wife of nearly 56 years, Bridie, and his five sons, Julian, Damian, Marcus, Joshua and Kolbe, their spouses, his 14 grandchildren and siblings Carmel, Tommy, Bridie and Nicholas, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his great-granddaughter Bláithín, his brothers, Cathal and Micheal and sister Margaret. Reposing at his home (F94 HR70) on Tuesday, July 30 from 12 noon to 9pm. Requiem Mass in St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs on Wednesday, July 31 at 11am followed by burial in Mountcharles Cemetery. Family flowers only. Edward Carlin, Sligo, Derry and Buncrana
The death has occurred of Edward (Paddy) Carlin Lower Heather View, Tonaphubble, Sligo, Derry and Buncrana, Donegal. he passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Molly, brother Tony and his sister Mary. Adored husband of Sadie, loving father of Brendan, Theresa and Johnny. Paddy will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Sadhbh, Liam and Cormac, son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Pamela, brothers John and Michael, sister Irene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo F91 YR61 on Monday, July 29 from 6pm to 7:30pm. Funeral will arrive to St Anne’s Church, Sligo on Tuesday, July 30 at 11:00am for requiem Mass, followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. The funeral can be viewed live here.
Derek Crawford, Raphoe
The sudden death has taken place of Derek Crawford, Magherahane, Raphoe (F93FW6X). He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his father Nial, mother Yvonne, sisters Linda and Helena, brother Alan, nieces, nephews, cousins and wider family circle. Funeral arrangements Later.
Mary Elizabeth (Lizzy) Doherty, Clonmany
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary Elizabeth (Lizzy) Doherty, née McEleney, Minaduff, Clonmany, F93W7D3.
Wife of the late Neil, Loving mother of Paddy, Danny, Mary, Paul, Martin, Kathleen, Grace and Philip. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, and her extended family and friends. Her remains are reposing at her home from 11am today.
Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, July 31 at 10.20am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Lola McDermott, Glenties
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Lola McDermott, Meenahalla and Main Street, Glenties. Predeceased by her husband James. Sadly missed and forever loved by her loving daughters Teresa and Claire and son-in-law Kevin, neighbours and friends. Lola’s remains will repose at Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara on Monday from 4.30pm until 7pm followed by removal to St Connell's Church Glenties for 7.30pm to repose overnight. Michael McLaughlin, Moville
The death has taken place of Michael McLaughlin (White), Glencrow, Moville F93 Y9Y9. Beloved husband of Sheila, much-loved father of Caroline (Junior), Michelle (Cathal), Charlie (Sharon), Teresa (Chris) and Brian. A devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by daughter in law, sons in law, sisters and brother, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Michael’s remains are now reposing at his home - all welcome to pay respects.
Funeral from there at 10.30am on Tuesday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by Interment in Ballybrack Graveyard.

The death has taken place at the Lake House Nursing Home of Edmond Boyle, Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy, and formerly Creeslough, Co Donegal.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Anna, his children Deborah, Irene, Michelle and Edmond J, sons-in-law John, Patrick, Paul and daughter-in-law Harriet, his loving sister Irene Johnston.
Dearly missed by his grandchildren John E, Kevin, Lauren, Christopher, Finn, Lucy, Christopher and Matthew.
Edmond will be waked at the family home in Portnablagh on Sunday, July 28 from 1pm to 8pm.

The death has occurred at his late residence, of Patrick Breen, 4 Woodlawn, Stranorlar. Beloved husband of Evelyn, much loved father of daughter Eileen, (partner Kieran) and son Paul, cherished brother of Teresa, (Michael) and Vinny (Margaret) Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, brother, sister, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, niece, extended family, and special friends. Remains reposing at McCool’s Chapel Of Rest, Ballybofey on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 from 4pm until rosary at 8pm, with removal immediately afterwards on Sunday night to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Monday July 29 at 11am. Interment in Drumboe cemetery.

Dinny O'Donnell, Dungloe and Ranafast

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Dinny O'Donnell (Dinny Domhnaill) Quay Road, Dungloe and formerly Ranafast.
Predeceased by his parents Donal and Neillie brothers Hughdie and Paddy and sisters Breid and Eileen, he is sadly missed by his broken hearted family, his wife Breid, son Donal (Dodie) daughters Maura and Helena, son-in-law Terence, his grandchildren Michael, Liam, Shane and Aisling and his great-grandchildren, his brother Gonna, sisters Maureen, Roisin and Frances.
His remains will repose in McGlynn's Funeral Home Dungloe on Saturday from 11am until 4pm followed by removal to his home in Quay Road, F94 Y6P7. Rosary will take place at 8pm. Wake on Sunday from 12 noon and Rosary at 8pm. House is private please from 10pm and on the morning of the funeral.
