Michael Charles McGourty, Frosses
The death has occurred of Michael Charles McGourty, Cambridge, England peacefully at Peterborough City Hospital, England. Predeceased by his parents Frances and Michael John and his son Raymond. Deeply regretted and sadly missed and loved by his partner Tracey, children: Thomas, Ann Marie, Jemma and Lilly. Grandchildren: Maria, Niall, Cornelius and Gemma. His bother Andrew, sister Roseann Moriarty, twin sister Mary Florence Doherty. His niece Kerriann, nephews Kieran and John, brothers in law Michael and Patrick. Remains arriving at the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Frosses, Co Donegal for 12 noon Mass on Monday, April 15 with burial afterwards in Cranny Road Cemetery, Frosses. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to the Kevin Bell Repatriation fund c/o Noel Keegan Funeral Director or any family member.
Julia Ferry, Galway and Rathmullan
The death has occurred in her 103rd year of Julia (Jiley) Ferry, Castlelawn Heights, Galway and Ballintise, Dunmore, Galway / Rathmullan, Donegal. She passed away at the home of her niece Mary Doherty, Ballintise, Dunmore, Co.Galway. Pre-deceased by her siblings Mary Farrelly, Galway, Rosie Loughrey, Drumhalla and Danny Ferry, Anney and her nephew John Loughrey, Drumhalla. Sadly missed by her Farrelly nieces and nephew Patrick, Evelyn, Ailish and Mary, and her Loughrey nieces and nephews Fr. Neil, Mary, Michael, Siobhán, Paddy, Daniel, Paul, Noel, Evelyn and Stella, wider family and friends.
Reposing in Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Saturday evening from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Reposing at the residence of her late sister Rosie Loughrey, Drumhalla, Rathmullan, Co. Donegal from 4.00pm on Sunday, 14th April.
Funeral Mass on Monday, April 15 at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Livestream available at St Joseph's Church.
Patrick Byrne, Teelin
The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Byrne, Ummerawirrinan, Teelin. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Letterkenny University Hospital. Beloved husband of Kathleen, loving father of John (Andrea), Christopher (Karen), Patrick, Brendan (Catherine) and daughter Breda (Martin).
Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving family, his beloved nine grandchildren, brothers John and Francis, his in-laws and extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his late residence until removal at 1.40pm on Sunday to St Columba's Church Carrick for 2pm Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Rosemary Carabine, Mayo and Lifford
The death has occurred of Rosemary Carrabine, née Caulfield, Foxford, County Mayo and formerly of Lifford. She passed away peacefully in St Johns, Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband Padraig.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Carol Aytour, London and Ballyshannon
The death has taken place of Carol Aytour, néee Farmer, London and formerly of Cloughbally, Ballyshannon.
Forever remembered by her husband Abbie, daughter Sara (Sherif) and son Daniel (Katherine). Much loved by her grandchildren Janna, Adam and Oisin. Carol is be sadly missed by her brother Michael, sister Betty, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mass of the Resurrection shall be celebrated in St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon on Saturday at 11am. Mass shall be streamed live at www.churchservices.tv/Stpatickballyshannon/
Mary Cunningham, Dublin and Frosses
The death has taken place of Mary Cunningham, née Coughlan, Stillogran, Dublin and late of Frosses. She passed away peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Connell, daughters Emer and Nuala, son Paul, and her sister Teena, daughter-in-law Flor, sons-in-law Paul and Jimmy, grandchildren Aisling, Christine, Isabelle, Sam and James, relatives, carers Janice, Tina, Lea and Gina, neighbours and many friends.
Mary's remains will be lying in repose at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Blackrock, A94 X308, on Friday from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Mass at Church of St Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud on Saturday at 10am.
