Edward Rogers, Carrigart

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Edward Rogers, Aughalatty, Carrigart.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Easter Sunday going to the Church of St John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the Funeral.

Mary Doherty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary Doherty (née McMenamin), 2 An Gleann Rua, Killylastin, Letterkenny (F92 D7NN0) formerly College Road, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by her parents Eddie and Lily and brother Niall McMenamin.

Sadly missed by her son Christopher McMenamin and partner Orla, daughter Rachael Doherty and husband Medhi, her siblings Martin and wife Mary, Eddie and wife Maxine, Louise, Aisling and husband Joe, Karen and husband Michael, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Reposing at her late residence on Friday, March 29 from 3pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 12 noon to 9pm with Rosary at 9pm on both nights. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass in Eunan’s Cathedral on Sunday afternoon, 31st March at 2pm which can be viewed live here followed by burial in New Leck Cemetery.

Eddie McColgan, Muff

The death has taken place at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin of Eddie McColgan, Garrison, Iskaheen, Muff.

Predeceased by his wife Anne (nee Barr).

Much-loved father of Christopher, Sinéad and Audrey, dear father-in-law of Patricia and loving grandfather of Ciara and Declan.

Deeply regretted and will forever be missed by his loving daughters, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, wider family circle and friends.

Eddie’s remains will be reposing at his home. House is private to family and close friends and on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from his home Monday, April 1 at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Vincent Burns, Bundoran

The death has taken place of Vincent Burns, 16 Elaghmore, West End, Bundoran, F94EC67. He died peacefully after a long illness bravely borne in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses, carers and staff of the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.

Predeceased by his parents, brother and sister, Vincent will be deeply regretted and remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his beloved grandchildren, brothers, sister, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will repose at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Friday evening from 4pm to 7pm. House strictly private please. 

Removal from his late residence on Saturday morning at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for a Prayer Service at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in St Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran. Prayer Service can be viewed online at http://www.magheneparish.ie

Anthony Joseph Quigley, Dunkineely

The peaceful death has occurred of Anthony Joseph Quigley, Castleview, Dunkineely.

He is sadly missed by his wife Barbara, his daughters Angela and Doreen, his sons, Martin and Tony, his brothers, Brian, Francis, John, Peter, Gerry, Thomas and his sister Veronia, his grandchildren, extended family and friends. Anthony is predeceased by his mother Molly, father Dan and brother Jim.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Removal from there on Sunday at 12.40pm going to the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, for 1pm service with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eamonn Mullen, Portnablagh

The death has taken place, in the Lake House Nursing Home, of Eamonn Mullen, Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy.

Sadly missed by his sister Kathleen Freaney (Dublin), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

His remains arereposing at his late residence. Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Nora Browne, Carrigans

The peaceful death has occurred, in Letterkenny University Hospital, of Nora Browne, née Gallagher, Main St, Carrigans.

Loving mum of Leann (Darren), Liam (Sinead) and Daniel (Niamh), her beloved eight grandchildren Kelan (Agnes), Ryan, Alisha, Kara, Andrew, Mathew, Jessica, Isobelle. Eldest of 15 brothers and sisters Bernie, Marie, Joan, Pauline, Geraldine, Dolores, Martin, David, Neil, Oliver, Jimmy, Tony, Paul and predeceased by Tommy. Nora will be missed by all her extended family and friends. Nora is predeceased by her parents Mary and John, nephew Brian McDaid, niece Noeleen Moore and baby Sonny. 

Nora's remains will be reposing at her sister's Joan McGee's residence, 2 Millpark, Carrigans, from 3pm on Thursday, and all day Friday, with Rosary each evening at 8pm.

Funeral cortege will be leaving 2 Millpark, Carrigans, at 10am on Saturday travelling via Rushfield Road, Church Town, Cross, going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston, for 11am Funeral Service with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tom McPartlan, Brookfield, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Tom McPartlan, Brookfield, Donegal Town, and formerly Drumkeeran, Couty Leitrim. He died peacefully in Sligo Hospice surrounded by his loving family, wife Barbara, children Mark, Aine (Conor), Helen (Pete-So) and Hugh.

Sadly missed by his brother and sisters, Hugh (Patricia), Jimmy, Mary, Ann (Gerry), John (Margaret), Eugene, Brendan (Rita), Catherine, and Noel (Lisa), niece and nephews and his grandchildren, Eoghan, Dylan, Penny and Ada.

Tom’s remains will repose at his late residence at Brookfield, Donegal Town, F94 H27X on Thursday until 9pm and Friday from 2pm until 9pm. One way system in operation entry via Ardeskin and exit via Lurganboy (Abbots). House private on Saturday morning please. 

His remains will leave his home on Saturday morning at 10.15am for funeral service at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Graveyard.

Edith Rebecca Catterson, Convoy

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Edith Rebecca Catterson, Calhame, Convoy, F93FR52.

Deeply missed by her loving husband Roy, sons Mark (Elaine), Trevor (Lorraine), Jonathan (Linda) and daughter Rachelle (James). Cherished grandmother of Andrew, James, Hannah, Dione, Amy, Chloe, Alfie, Rebecca and Reuben. Edith will be sadly missed by her sisters Maud and Dorothy and brother David, wider family circle and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her home. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 1.30pm for 2pm funeral service in St Patrick’s Church Donaghmore with burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.

Domnick Boyle, Stracastle, Glenties

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Domnick Boyle, Stracastle, Glenties, F94RF74.

Predeceased by his wife Madge and son Pheilm, brother John and niece Julia. Sadly missed by his daughter Mary, sons Eamonn and Patrick, daughter-in-law Debrah , grandchildren Bridgid, Evan and Merideth.

Domnick's remains are reposing at his late residence. Family time from 11pm until 10am.

Removal from his home on Friday morning to St Connell's Church, Glenties, for funeral service at 11am with interment afterwards in the local cemetery. Funeral service can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/glenties.

Majella Gibbons, Westown, Malin Head

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Majella Gibbons, Westown, Malin Head, F93W2D1.

Predeceased by her father Owen and mother Kathleen. Sadly mourned and will always be remembered by cherished daughter Katie, son in law Christy, granddaughter Margaret Grace, her brothers John, Colm and Peter, her sisters Margaret and Cathy, brother-in-law Brian, her cousin Patrick and her nieces and nephews.

Her remains are reposing at her home. House private from 10pm to 11am please.

Removal from her home Saturday morning at 11.30am to Star of the Sea Church for funeral liturgy at 12pm followed by burial afterwards in Lagg cemetery.

Winnie Sweeney, Kincasslagh

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Winnie Sweeney (née Strain), Rannyhual, Kincasslagh.

Sadly missed by her husband Eamon, sons Patrick and Michael, daughters Kelli and Katie and all her extended family.

Reposal of her remains continues in Mc Glynn's Funeral Home, Dungloe, on Thursday until Rosary at 8.30pm, followed by private removal to her home in Rannyhual. House is private, please, on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral service at 11am on Friday in St Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, with interment in the New Cemetery.

Brendan Carron, London and Letterkenny

The sudden death has occurred in London of Brendan Carron formerly of "Fatima" Glencar, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Mary. Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by his sons Vincent (London), Brendan (London), daughters Roisin, (Dan) Kent, Nicola (Letterkenny), sisters Geraldine, (Danny) Falcarragh, Fidelma (Letterkenny), Donal, (Deborah) Headford, grandchildren, Aunt Margaret (Dublin), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and many friends in Donegal and London. Funeral service followed by cremation in London. John Mc Daid, Buncrana

The sudden death had occurred in Liverpool of John Mc Daid, 19 Loch View, Buncrana.

Beloved son of Tina and Henry, brother of James and Michelle and the late Baby Gary. Beloved fiancé of Navi. John will be sadly missed by his grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

John's remains are reposing at his family home. House is private, please, on the morning of the funeral.
