Mary McConnellogue, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Buncrana Nursing Unit of Mary McConnellogue, Annagh, Clonmany, F93NR76.

Her remains will be reposing at her late residence from 10am until 10pm, Friday, March 8. House private please on the morning of funeral. One one-way system will be in operation.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 9th March at 10.20am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany, for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Alice Sexton, Drumquin

The death has taken place of Alice Sexton, 7 Loughrey Terrace, Drumquin. Her remains are reposing at her late residence.
Funeral from there on Saturday morning with 11am requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Langfield Drumquin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed on the parish webcam.

Mary (Kit) Gallagher, Florida, Knockastoller and Dunlewey

The death has taken place, at her home in Florida, of Mary (Kit) Gallagher, originally of Knockastoller, and Dunlewey, Gweedore.

Her remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) on Friday, March 8 from 2pm until rosary time at 8pm. Removal afterwards to the family home in Dunlewey.

House private to immediate family only on Friday night and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 9 at 12.30pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Anne Patricia Rose, Letterkenny 

The death has occurred of Anne Patricia Rose (née Campbell), 10 Bracken Lea, Letterkenny at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Long Lane, Letterkenny.

Formerly of Forest Walk, Swords, Co Dublin and Brocagh, Cloghan, Co. Donegal and retired Midwife at the Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon. Predeceased by her brothers Cathal, Josie, Connie and Eunan.

Devoted mother to Carmel, Kevin (Jennifer) and Peter (Janice); sister to Carmel Campbell (Dublin). Much loved grandmother to Robin, Faith, Ava, Luke, Nick and Zadie.

Lovingly remembered by the entire family, former work colleagues and friends.

Anne Patricia’s remains will repose at her son Peter’s residence, 10 Bracken Lea, Letterkenny (F92FAW6) on Friday, March 8 from 1pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday, March 9 in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

Interment afterwards in the family plot, Kilteevogue Graveyard, Glenfin.

Packie McGuire, Ardara

The peaceful death has occurred of Patrick (Packie) McGuire, Portnoo Road, Ardara at Donegal Community Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Josephine (née Campbell), his sister Kay Shovlin (Bruckless), his brother-in-law Pete and sister-in-law Bridget McGuire (Carrickacleave, Ardara), his extended family, friends and neighbours. Packie is predeceased by his brothers James (Carrickacleave) and Conell (Frosses) and his sister Mary (Birmingham).

His remains reposing at Mc Cabe's Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm, followed by private removal to his late residence. Reposal continues at his residence on Friday from 11am until 10pm. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from there on Saturday going to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for Funeral Mass at 2pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa Orr, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at Brindley Manor Nursing Home, Convoy of Teresa Orr, 142 Upper Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by her sisters Mary Coyle (Strabane) and Margaret McCormack (Gweedore), nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Teresa is predeceased by her mother Elizabeth, brothers Bobby and Jim and her sister, Elizabeth.

Teresa’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, on Thursday from 4pm until 5.45pm with removal afterwards to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny arriving at approximately 6.15pm to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there on Friday at 11am which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny with interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery Letterkenny.

Anne Patricia Rose, Letterkenny, Cloghan and Dublin

The death has taken place at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Long Lane, Letterkenny, of Retired Midwife (Sheil Hospital), Anne Patricia Rose, 10 Bracken Lea, Letterkenny, and formerly of Forest Walk, Swords, County Dublin and Brocagh, Cloghan. 

Predeceased by her brothers Cathal, Josie, Connie and Eunan; devoted Mother to Carmel, Kevin (Jennifer) and Peter (Janice); sister to Carmel Campbell (Dublin); much Loved Grandmother to Robin, Faith, Ava, Luke, Nick and Zadie. She is lovingly remembered by the entire family, former work colleagues and friends.

Sadie Callaghan, Fanad

The peaceful death has taken place of Sadie Callaghan, née Gibbons, Ballylar, Fanad.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Dan and Mary Gibbons, sisters Peggy Hagan, Mary Anne and Rosie Gibbons. Deeply regretted by her children, Henry and Martin (Fanad), Patrick and John (Seattle), Danny (Kilmacrennan), Mary (Galway), her brother Danny Gibbons (Fanad), sisters Celine Gibbons and Hilda Taffee, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Sadie's remains are reposing at her late residence Ballylar, Fanad F92 YK82. Removal to St Marys Church Fanavolty, Fanad (F92 H2C5) arriving at 5.30pm on Thursday to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 12pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tom Quinn, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Quinn, late of Castleknock and Ballyshannon. He died peacefully after an illness at home surrounded by his loving family and the Hospice Care Team.

Beloved husband of Brid (née O' Loughlin) and much loved father of John and Marie, Tom will be sadly missed and forever loved by his adored grandchildren, Erin, Rose, Aoife, Niamh and Sean, Tom's brother Danny, daughter-in-law Ann Marie, niece Marguerite, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.

His remains are reposing at home from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, at D15 C6AK.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 2pm in Corpus Christi Church, Lisdoonvarna with burial afterwards in Toovahera Church Grounds.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Danny Sweeney, Donegal Town 

The death has occurred of Danny Sweeney Lurganboy, Donegal Town, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, wife Eilish, daughter Orla and sons Dane, Rory, Oran and Cillian, and grandchildren Eden, Finn, Caelan.

Reposal of Danny’s remains will continue at his late residence at Lurganboy, Donegal Town from 12 noon until 9pm on Thursday. House private on Friday morning please.

His remains will leave his home on Friday morning at 10.40am for 11.30am Mass in St Patrick’s Church Donegal Town with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Graveyard.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Solace Centre, Donegal Town in memory of Danny.

Fr Herbie Bromley, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Fr Herbie Bromley, Chapel Street, Ballyshannon, peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his Parents Richard (Dickie) and Mary B, sisters Ellie, Mae and Therese, brothers John Joe, Richie and Willie. Fr Herbie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews, cousins and all other relatives, and a wide circle of friends across the world.

Reposal of his remains continues at his residence on Thursday from 12pm to 4pm. House private at all other times please. Removal on Thursday evening to St Patrick's Church for 7pm evening prayers to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am, followed by burial afterward in St.Joseph's Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon. Mass can be viewed here.

Mary Duffy, Bunbeg

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary Duffy (née Sharkey) of Knockastolar, Bunbeg, F92HEE3, originally from Leitir Catha.

Predeceased by her parents Rosie and Charlie and Brother Hughie. Sadly missed by her daughter Roseann, son Paul, son in-law Daniel, daughter in-law Tina, grandchildren Maria Rose and Brendan, sister Sheila, brothers Patrick and John and extended family and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal.

Reposal of her remains continues at her late residence on Thursday until Rosary at 8pm. House private after the rosary and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Meenaweal, interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director's Facebook page.
