The death has taken place of Michael Geary, Lisnenan, Letterkenny. Pre-deceased by his loving parents John and Agnes Geary.
Sadly missed by his ex-wife Grainne, daughter Leah, son-in-law Michael and grandchildren Jayden, Ashton, Mila and Blake, his sister Jacqueline Blake and Husband Brian Blake and niece Yenthi, brother Sean and nephew Evan.
Funeral Mass in St Eunan's Cathedral at 1pm Thursday, February 22 with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.
Andy Coyle, Gortahork
The peaceful death has taken place in Falcarragh Community Hospital of Andy Coyle Meencarrick, Gortahork F92 A622 . Predeceased by his parents Kate and Daniel, his brother William, his nephew Danny. Survived by his sisters Mary and Breid, his brother Jimmy, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends. Reposing his home in Meencarrick. Rosary both nights at 8.00pm. House private after Rosary till 10am. Funeral from there on Friday, February 23 for 11am requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork F92 DP86 with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Bernard Francis Doherty, Malin Head
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Bernard Francis Doherty, Slievebawn, Malin Head, F93 Y2P4.

David Lavery, Burnfoot
The death has occurred at Altnagelvin Hospital of David Lavery, Dundrain, Burnfoot.
Beloved husband of Marie, much loved father of Sarah, Con, Charlie and Jack and dear brother of Anne, Fiona, Bridget, Georgia, Rosaleen, Dennis, Johnny and Paul.
Predeceased by his parents Con and Mary, Buncrana and his brother Con.
Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.
David’s remains will be reposing at his home from 11am on Thursday, February 22. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am and on the morning of the funeral.
Removal from there on Saturday, February 24 at 10.15am to St Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed here. Family flowers only please.
Maureen O’Brien, Meenreagh and Rathmullan
The peaceful death has occurred of Maureen (Maisie) O’Brien (née Mortimer), Meenreagh and formerly Glenalla, Rathmullan, Donegal. Dearly loved wife of Patrick.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, son, daughters, relatives and friends.
Her remains will be received into St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan on Sunday at 6.00pm to repose until Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am followed by interment in the adjacent cemetery.

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Bernadette (Bernie) Porter, nee Ewing, 478 The Curragh, Crossroads, Killygordon (F93 E1V3).
Beloved wife of the late Hugo, and much loved mother of John, Michelle, Linda, Stephen, David, and Derek.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Remains reposing at her late residence from 6pm on Thursday, February 22.
Funeral leaving from her late residence on Saturday, February 24 at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church Crossroads, Killygordon at 11am.

The death has occurred of Liam Cassidy, Celbridge, Kildare and formerly of Kilmacrennan. February 18, 2024 peacefully but suddenly at home.
Beloved husband of Anne née Cullen and dear devoted father of Lisa, Aoife and Clare. Predeceased by his sister Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, brothers Vincent, Roger and Martin, sisters Ann, Bridget and Christina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Thursday, February 22 between 3 pm and 7 pm. The peaceful death has occurred of Margaret (Greta) Cole, Galdonagh, Manorcunningham, F92CK88 in the wonderful care of St Eunan’s Nursing Home Letterkenny, surrounded by her loving family.
Greta is predeceased by her beloved husband John and daughter Sally Devir also her son-in-law Jim McKnight, Johns partner Eileen McLaughlin and two granddaughters Natasha Melaugh and Nicole McLaughlin. Greta will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Josie Cole, Margaret Steele (Ernie), Mary McKnight, Geraldine Gallagher (Willie), Heather Melaugh (Paddy) her son John Cole and son-in-law John Devir, also her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The death has occurred of Caroline Dickson, FRIAI, RIBA, of Fahan and Derry City. She died at Buncrana Community Hospital after a short illness.
Predeceased by her parents Christine (née Dunne) and Peter Dickson. A much-loved cousin, fondly and sadly missed by her many friends, colleagues and her beloved Fahan community.
Removal to St Mura’s, Church of Ireland, Fahan, arriving 2.30pm on Thursday.
