Hannah Boyle, née Sharkey,Coogan Park, Newcastle, Galway and Donegal
The death has taken place of Hannah Boyle, née Sharkey, Coogan Park, Newcastle, Galway, Australia and Donegal. Hannah passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, and under the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice, on January 20.
Pre-deceased by her husband John, her son Henry and by brothers and sisters. Beloved mother of Bernard and Norah, and sister of Sarah. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, neighbours, extended family and her circle of friends.
A reposing will be held for Hannah in St Pio’s Room, on the grounds of the Sacred Heart Church, Westside, on Monday, January 22, from 5.30pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to the adjoining Church. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 23, at 11.30am. A private cremation service will take place afterwards in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

The death has taken place of Hugh McMenamin, Halftown, Castlefin.
Beloved Husband of the late Patricia, much loved Father of Froline, Cecelia, Christina, Anthony, Sinead and Teresa, dearly loved Grandfather of Rebecca, Jessica, Padraic, Kain, Cora, Sommer, Senan, Lorcan, Caoimhe, Fiachra, Hannah and Ollie and Brother of Daniel, John, Pat, Paul, Mary, Bernadette, Bríd and Eugene.
Hugh will be reposing at Quigley`s Funeral Home, Strabane on Sunday, January 21, from 5pm with removal to St Columba’s Church, Doneyloop at 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday, January 22, at 12pm.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.

The death has occurred, at the Donegal Hospice, of Patrick (Patsy) Collins. Deeply regretted by his sisters, Veronica, Noreen, Mary, Marjorie and Ann, brothers, Danny and James.
Predeceased by his father Dan, his mother Brigid and his sister Carmel. Sadly, missed by his sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and family circle.
Remains are reposing at his late residence, Carmel House, Sallaghagraine, Letterkenny, F92Y4XT. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, January 23, in St Eunan’s Cathedral, at 1pm with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery. The death has occurred of John Harkin, The Green, Athlumney and late of Boyerstown, Navan, Meath and Killybegs.
He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 21. John, dearly loved husband of Joan and loving father of Eithne, John, Kevin, Eileen, Conor and Michael. Very sadly missed by his family, sister Anne Cannon, son-in-law Greg, daughters-in-law Ger, Ali and Sue, Conor's partner Anne, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren Emily, Seán, Isobel and Daniel Fulton, Eleanor, Ailish, Rachael, Johno, Julia, Darragh, Kate and Ava Harkin, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Canon Row, Navan, this Tuesday from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in St. Mary's Church, Navan, followed by burial in Boyerstown Cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations, in lieu, to Navan Meals On Wheels.

Kitty Mc Garvey, née Harkin, Bunbeg
The death has taken place in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair of Kitty Mc Garvey (Kitty Annie Rua), Bunbeg, originally of Sleeghan, Gaoth Dobhair. Predeceased by her husbands, Arthur Mc Gee and Jimmy Mc Garvey, sisters, Nancy and Frances and brothers, Jack, Jimmy, Charlie, Micí and Owenie.
Sadly missed by her daughters, Mary and Anne, in-laws Pádraig, Bella, Michael and Caitriona, grandchildren, Colleen, Cathal, Catherine, Ben, Joel, Kitty and Zack, 8 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Reposing at her daughter Mary's residence at Strand Road, Magheragallon. House private today for family, neighbours and friends, due to weather warnings.

Annie Doogan, née Walsh, Perth, Scotland, Kincasslagh and Crolly
The death has taken place of Annie Doogan, née Walsh, of Perth, Scotland and Gortnasade, Kincasslagh, formerly Ardveen, Crolly.
Annie passed away peacefully at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee on January 16, aged 92. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Jim. She is sadly missed by her children Bridget, Seamus, Joseph, Anne, Charles and David, daughters in law Frances, Susan, Peggy and Gill and son-in-law Simon. She was devoted to her grandchildren Caitlin, Jack, Conall, Fergus, Emmet, Ciara, Maria, Niamh, Charlie and James.
Remains to be received into St Mary Magdalene’s RC Church, Glenearn Road, Perth on Tuesday, January 23 at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 24, 11am.
Remains arriving in St. Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh on Thursday, January 25 at about 6pm and Mass before burial on Friday 26th at 11am.

The sudden death has taken place in London of Aiden Garvin, formerly of "Mulroy", Glencar Road, Letterkenny.
Predeceased by his parents Tom and Una. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his partner Caron, London; sister Anne (Tim), Galway, brothers Declan, Dublin; Kevin, (Deirdre), Dublin and sister Mary, Letterkenny, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and his wide circle of friends in Donegal, London and beyond.
Reposing at his sister Mary's residence, 32, Meadow Hill, Kiltoy, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (Eircode F92 TFP9) on Tuesday, January 23 from 2pm to 7.30pm. The death has taken place of Teresa McHugh, 22 The Orchard, Duncarberry, Tullaghan, Leitrim and formerly of Drimard, Frosses at Sligo General Hospital.
She is predeceased by her loving parents James and Mary Florence McHugh. She is sadly missed by her sisters Anne Heekin, Frances Dunnion (UK) brothers John (UK) and Andy (Frosses), partner Ignatius McCann, her brothers-in-law Michael and Con and sister-in-law Cathy.
Her loving nieces Trasa, Marie and Angela and nephews Martin, Ian and Andrew, grand nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Reposing at her family home in Drimard, Frosses, F94 K8K3 on Sunday, January 21 from 1pm to 9pm. Rosary at 9pm.

The peaceful death has occurred of James (Seamus) Doherty of Meenacannon, Kilcar. Sadly missed by his sons, James, Stephen, Trevor, his daughter Denise, his daughters-in-law Moria, Judith and Corinne, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his loving wife Rose.
Remains reposing at his late residence with removal from there Monday at 10.30am going to St Cartha's Church, Kilcar for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. At the request of the deceased the wake is strictly private to family only, please.
John Patrick O'Shea - Victoria, Australia and Kilmacrennan
The deaths has taken place of John Patrick O'Shea, Yanakie, Victoria Australia and Kilmacrennan. He passed away on January 14 at Foster Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones, aged 82.
Loving husband of Mary, father to Sarah and Niall, father-in-law to Rebecca and Rowan. Grandpa to Rory and Molly.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fish Creek-Foster Rd, Fish Creek on Wednesday, January 24 at 11am and can be viewed here.
The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of Mass for the Foster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peter Mac Callum Canter Centre would be appreciated.
Bernie Friel, Buncrana
The peaceful death has occurred of Bernie Friel, 12 Castle Park, Buncrana. Bernie is predeceased by her husband Jim and daughter Margaret, and will be sadly missed by her loving family Amy (Willie), Raymond (Carmelita), Gerald (Catherine), Dermot (Loraine), grandsons Shane, Rory, and James, her siblings Ann, Maire, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.
Bernie’s remains will be reposing at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Willie Mc Callion at Meentahalla, Ballymagan, Buncrana.
Funeral on Monday leaving at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral can be viewed here.
Geraldine Hughes, Goland and Coventry
The death has occurred at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar of Geraldine Hughes, Goland and formerly Coventry, England. Beloved wife of the late Andy.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Sunday, January 21 from 6pm until rosary at 9pm. Funeral leaving from there on Monday at 9.40am for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill at 10am. Interment in Drumboe cemetery.
