Deaths in Donegal

The following deaths have taken place:

Bernard (Barney) Coyle, Gweedore
  
The death has taken place at the home of Bernard (Barney) Coyle, Bunaninver, Gweedore. His remains are reposing at his home. Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, November 26, in Teach Pobail Cholmcille Cnoc Fola (F92 D586) at 1pm, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director’s Facebook page. Family flowers only, please, donations, in lieu, to UNICEF Ireland c/o any family member or Kieran Roarty Funeral Director.

Eugene Ruddy, Carndonagh

The death has taken place of Eugene Ruddy, peacefully, at Carndonagh Community Hospital. Much loved by his wife Roisin, daughter Noeleen, son-in-law Stephen and grandson Darragh, brother Manus, sisters Nuala and Mary-Ann, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews. Reposing at his home, 8 Millbrae Meadows, Carndonagh. Family time from 9pm to 12 noon.
Removal from there on Sunday, November 26 at 10.30am for Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Carndonagh at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Rodney Roulson, Milford and Kilmacrenan

The peaceful death has taken place of Rodney Roulson, Court, Milford and formerly Rosemount, Kilmacrenan.

Remains reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, November 24. 

Funeral Service on Saturday at 2pm in St Paul’s Church, Ramelton. Cremation on Sunday in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice C/O Any family member or Patrick Sweeney Funeral Directors.

Breda Jacob, Letterkenny and Cork

The death has taken place of Breda Jacob (née Buckley) Aisling Glebe, Letterkenny (F92 R6D7) and formerly of Castlelyons, Co Cork.

She passed away peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by son, Nigel.
Deeply regretted by her husband Maurice, daughter, Sharon, son-in-law, Paul, granddaughters Hayley, Robin and Abbey-Lee, grandsons, Nathan Josh and Jack.
Always remembered by extended family members neighbours and friends.
Breda’s remains will repose at her late residence from 4pm to 11pm on Friday, November 24 and from 11am to 11pm on Saturday, November 26.
Funeral from there on Sunday  going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs Letterkenny for Requiem mass at 9.30am followed by cremation at 2pm in Lakeland’s crematorium Co. Cavan. Funeral Mass can be viewed here.

Theresa Doherty, Derry and Clonmany

The death has taken place of Theresa Doherty, Culmore Manor, Derry and formerly of Tirhorne, Clonmany.

Remains reposing at Comiskey’s Funeral Premises, F93 N4V2 from 2.30pm, Friday November 24.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.45am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Funeral Mass at 10am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Anne McDermott, Wexford and Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Anne McDermott, née Doherty-Sadler, of Ferrybank, Wexford Town, Wexford and late of Stranorlar.

Beloved wife of Terry, mother of Bernard, sadly missed by her family, the Doherty family Carndonagh, Donegal, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Her remains are reposing in her residence on Friday from 6pm until 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am, in Church of the Assumption, Bride Street, Wexford, burial afterwards in St Ibar’s Cemetery, Crosstown. Mass will be streatmed via www.wexfordparish.com Bride Street

Mary McGee, Letterkenny, Falcarragh and Roscommon

The death has taken place of Mary McGee, née Gately, 35 Clachan Mor, Letterkenny and formerly of Bay Harbour Islands, Florida and Kilteevan, Roscommon.

She is survived by her sisters Tess, Cathleen and husband Anthony (Liverpool), nieces Lisa and husband Ron, Helen and Husband Gavin and family, sisters in law, Mary, Nora and John (Falcarragh) and Charlie, Catherine and Family (Letterkenny). Predeceased by her husband Patrick and brothers Martin, William and Frank.

The wake will take place at her home in Clachan Mor on Thursday 3pm to 9pm and Friday from 12 noon to 9pm. Rosary at 8pm. House private to family at all other times and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place in St Fionan's Church, Falcarragh on Saturday at 12.30pm followed by her interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family Flowers only please, donations if desired to Medical 2, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o Marley Funeral Directors, Drumany, Letterkenny.

Deirdre Gallagher, Letterkenny

The death has occurred peacefully in the presence of her loving family in Tallaght University Hospital, of Deirdre Gallagher, 4 Ard Crannagh, Gortlee, Letterkenny, F92 FCV6.

Predeceased by grandparent's Josie and Ronnie Gallagher, John and Maura Devine. She is deeply regretted by parents Theresa Haag and Joe Gallagher, sister Emma and husband Kieran, brothers Michael and Joey. Fondly remembered by her nephew's Oliver and Issac, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and many friends.

Deirdre's remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of funeral.

Funeral from there on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny followed by interment in New Leck Cemetery.

Seamus McGrory, England and Buncrana

The peaceful death has taken place of Seamus McGrory, Sheldon, Birmingham, England and formerly of Druminderry, Buncrana.

Brother-in-law of Anna Teresa McGrory, St Oliver’s Avenue, Marion Park, Buncrana. Survived by his loving wife Catherine McGrory and children Gerard, Marion, Martin and Paul. Brother of John-Joe, Lily, Mary, Patrick, Denis, Gerard and Cathal. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and John McGrory.

Funeral will take place at later date in St Thomas Mores Church, Sheldon, Birmingham with burial in Widney Manor Cemetery, Solihull.
