Most Reverend Bishop Emeritus Liam S MacDaid, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin and Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Most Reverend Bishop Emeritus Liam S MacDaid, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin and Fermanagh. Bishop Emeritus of Clogher Diocese. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary Ellen.

He will be sadly missed by his brother Christopher, Bishop Larry Duffy, Bishop Emeritus Joseph Duffy and the priests, deacons, religious and the people of Clogher Diocese.

Ann McGroary, Donegal Town

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Ann McGroary (née Campbell),The Mullins, Donegal Town, F94 W0HR.
Beloved wife of the late Michael McGroary. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and sons; Margaret (Letterkenny), John (Letterkenny), Liam (Newbridge), Michael (Letterkenny) and Colm (Donegal Town); daughters-in-law; Bríd and Suzanne and her 9 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers; Pat (USA), Liam (USA), Dan (Donegal Town), Barney (Drimnaherk), Tony (Cork) and Colm (Donegal Town), Sisters; Bridget McGuinness (Donegal Town), Josephine Maguire (Ardara), Mary Henry (USA), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by her brother Frank (Donegal Town) and her sisters Kathleen Griffin (Ardaghey) and Peggy Hughes (Donegal Town), and her extended family and friends

Remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Friday, August 18 from 4 until 8pm, and on Saturday,  August 19, from 4pm until removal at 7.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Killymard, Donegal Town, F94 C6T7 to arrive for 8pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, August 20 at 11am, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu if desired to the Community Hospital, Donegal Town and c/o any family member or Gallagher Funeral Directors.

Liam Doherty, Ballyliffen

The sudden death has occurred of Liam Doherty, Clougherna, Ballyliffen, Clonmany.

Beloved son of Mary and the late Martin Doherty.

Much loved brother of Roisin, Shane, Joanne, Martin, and Eamonn.

Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

His remains are reposing at his Mother Mary’s home in Clougherna, Ballyliffen.

Funeral from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11am, with interment immediately afterwards in the new cemetery.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am, and on the morning of the funeral.

Kieran Breslin, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Kieran Breslin, 16, Meadow Hill, Kiltoy, Letterkenny (F92 X6CK).

Loving husband of Maureen McDaid-Breslin.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 19 in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Gortlee Rd, Ballyraine, Letterkenny (F92 FV52) at 2pm, with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

House strictly private to family only.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu to ISPCA, Donegal Animal Rehabilitation Centre c/o Con Mc Daid, Funeral Directors.

Mandy Boyce, Ramelton

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Mandy Boyce, Gortin, Ramelton.

Remains reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 19 at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford.

Burial afterwards in Tully Cemetery.

Noel McGing, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Noel McGing, Church Road, Killybegs.
Predeceased by his brothers Pat and Danny and granddaughter Molly.
Sadly missed by his wife Maire, sons Garry, Marty and John, daughters Olga and Mairead, daughters-in-law Lisa, Susan and Aileen, sons in law Stuart and Declan, grandchildren Orlaith, Aine, Eoin, Rosie, Bonnie, Bella, Andrew, Jack and Noah, brothers Frank and Michael, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence (F94 KT96) on Friday, August 18 and Saturday 19 August from 12pm-9pm.
House private at all other times.
Removal on Sunday morning at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetary.
Mass will be streamed live on www.mcnmedia.tv.

Annie Prosser/McLoone, UK and Glenties

The death has occurred of Annie Prosser/McLoone, Tamworth, UK and formerly, Glenties. Beloved wife of Johnny. Predeceased by her brothers Phillip, Sean, Al, Frank and sister Rose.

Sadly missed by her nieces Genevieve and Rosita and their extended families.

Mass at 1pm on August 22 in St John's Catholic Church, Tamworth, followed by Cremation at 2.30pm in Suttoncoldfield.
