Jim (The General) McLaughlin, Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Jim Mc Laughlin (The General) Cockhill Road, Buncrana.

Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Julija, his cherished son James Andrew his step Daughter Daniela, his brothers Martin, John, Patrick, his sisters Alice, Patricia, Mary, Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and his many friends.

Jim’s remains will repose at his home on Friday from 12 noon to 10pm.

Funeral on Saturday leaving at 9.45am going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill

Madeline Boyd, Ardara

The peaceful death has taken place of Madeline Boyd, Kilcashel, Loughros Point, Ardara.

Sadly missed by her loving family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Funeral service at her late residence at 1pm Friday followed by burial in Kilcashel Cemetery.

Margaret Edmundson, Lifford

The death has occurred  at St Joseph's Hospital, Stranorlar, of Margaret Edmundson (née Porter), Drumbuoy, Lifford. Margaret

Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Sean and Blathnaid, mother-in-law of Claire and John, dearly loved grandmother of Odie, Harris, Rudi and Penney and sister of Gary, Niall, Mary, Elva, Teenie, Pauline, Vi and the late Bobby, Tony and Ted.

Her remains are reposing at her daughter, Blathnaid Porter's home, The Haw, Churchtown, Carrigans F93 C796. Wake private to family and friends only please. Family time please from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral leaving her daughter's home on Saturday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the parish webcam. 

Benetta McCready, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred peacefully at her late residence, of Benetta McCready (née Doherty), Cluain Barron, Ballyshannon,

Predeceased by her husband Cormick and daughter Bridget, forever remembered by her son Niall, daughter-in-law Marie, daughter Catherine and son-in-law John. Much loved by her grandchildren Darragh, James, Annie, Johnny and Áine. Benetta will be sadly missed by her sister Nora.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Walk through only. House private to family on the morning of the funeral, please.

Removal from there on Friday at 10.40am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. The Funeral Mass shall be streamed live on St. Patrick's Church page at www.churchservices.tv/Stpatricksballyshannon/
