The following deaths have occurred:

- Leanne Marie Stapleton, North Carolina, U.S.A / Kilclooney, Portnoo

- Margaret (Maggie) Maguire, Keelogs, Inver

- Ann Woods, Quay Street, Moville

- James Cunnigham, St Johns Point, Dunkineely / Silversprings, Cork


Colm Ó Fearraigh, Carrickboyle, Derrybeg

The sudden death has taken place of Colm Ó Fearraigh, Carrickboyle, Derrybeg ( F92 CD45). Sadly missed by his parents Mairead and Pádraig, brothers; Cathal and Pádraig and extended family and friends.

Removal from The Eternal Light, Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, today, Tuesday, May 30 at 5pm, to the family home in Carrickboyle. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

House private to family, close friends and neighbours. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 1, at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Derrybeg, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director's Facebook page https://bit.ly/3DoIMm.

Sharon Duggan (née Anderson), Dooen, Newmills, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Sharon Duggan (née Anderson), Dooen, Newmills, Letterkenny (F92 PP8K) Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the caring hands of the staff in the Donegal Hospice. Deeply regretted by devoted husband Karol daughters Kelsey and wee Maizie Mae. Always remembered by parents Bobby and Rosemary, brother Anthony and partner, sister Claire and partner. Fondly remembered by extended family members, neighbours and many friends.

Removal from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest today Tuesday, May 30 at 6pm going to her late residence (House private please). Funeral from there on Thursday afternoon, June 1 going to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny for service at 2pm followed by interment in Gortlee Cemetery.

Leanne Marie Stapleton, North Carolina, U.S.A / Kilclooney, Portnoo

The very sudden heartbreaking death has sadly occurred of Leanne Marie Stapleton, in Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S.A, formerly Kilclooney, Portnoo. Surrounded by her loving family. Deeply mourned by her loving son Ronan, heartbroken mother Susan and father Kevin, and stepmother Irene. Sadly missed by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins in Donegal, Limerick, U.S.A and Malta and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be repatriated to Ireland in the coming days.


Margaret (Maggie) Maguire, Keelogs, Inver

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Maguire, Keelogs, Inver In her 107th year. Predeceased by her husband Michael and her sons John Francis & Edward Joseph.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her son Michael (Nuala) Ardaghey, daughter Bridget Quigg (Pat) Glencolmkille, her seven grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren.

Remains will be reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Tuesday, May 30 until 9pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 31 in St. Naul's Church Ardaghey at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.


Ann Woods, Quay Street, Moville

The death has taken place of Ann Woods, Quay Street, Moville. Beloved wife of Nicky (Noel), much-loved mother of Mark, Johanna and the late infant John, cherished granny of Patrick, Daragh, Erin, Liam and Conor. Daughter of the late Eddie and Grace (RIP), dear sister of Patsy, Margaret, Eamonn and the late Mary, Celia and John (RIP).

Ann will be deeply missed by her son-in-law Seamus, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle in Donegal and Bristol. House strictly private to family and close friends. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Friends Of Letterkenny Hospital c/o Liam Collins Funeral Director.

Reposing at her home. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in St. Pius X Church Moville followed by burial in Ballybrack Cemetery.

James Cunnigham, St Johns Point, Dunkineely / Silversprings, Cork

The peaceful death has occurred of James Cunnigham, at St John’s Point, Donegal, of Silversprings Co Cork. Husband of the late Ann (née Cashman) and devoted father of Paul and Clare and adored grandfather of Eoin, Jack, Cormac and Donnacha.

Sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, sister Diane, brother Patrick, son-in-law Colin, sister-in-law Nora, niece Jessica, nephews Martin and Stephen, brothers-in-law Bill and Pa, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, on Tuesday, May 30, from 5pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, May 31, at 11am in Our Lady Crowned Church, Mayfield, followed by funeral to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
