John Mc Grory, Buncrana

The death has taken place of John Mc Grory, 9 St Oliver's Avenue, Buncrana and formerly of Druminderry.

Beloved husband of Anna and devoted father of Sharon, Sean and Claire.

John's remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Friday morning at 10.15am going to St Mary's Church, Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass with burial in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill

 Tess Cannon, Claremorris, Castlebar and Kilcar

The death has occurred of Teresa (Tess) Cannon, from Claremorris and formerly of, Castlebar, County Mayo and Straleel, Kilcar, peacefully in the loving care of Claremount Nursing Home staff in her 99th year.

Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Mary, her brothers Bernard, Eddie and Peter, her sisters Mary Ann, Bridget (Sr Madeline), Ellen, Sarah, Peg Roisin (Sr Mary of the Divine Heart) and her niece and nephews James, Eddie and Anne O’Reilly (Convent Road, Claremorris), Peter and Timothy Dunne (Mountmellick) Paddy and Joe Cannon (Donegal) and Maeve Cannon (Donegal).

Her remains are reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) on Friday evening from 6.30 pm with removal at 8pm to St Colman’s Church, Claremorris.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 3.30pm with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on You Tube “Claremorris Church Live” and on local parish radio on 106FM.

Vivette Rolland, Derrybeg and Dublin

The sudden death has taken place of Vivette Rolland, née McCormick, of Swords, County Dublin, originally of Magheraclogher, Derrybeg.

Predeceased by her father Neil McCormick, she is sadly missed by her loving husband Stéphane, mother Margaret, brothers Kevin, Stephen and David, sisters Louise, Michelle, Eileen and Tracey, mother-in-law Colette, sisters-in-law, brothers -in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Wake at the family home in Magheraclogher on Thursday from 11am to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Derrybeg on Friday at 11am, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Mary Gallogley, Ballyshannon 

The death has occurred peacefully, at the Northwest Hospice, Sligo, in the loving care of her familyof Mary Gallogley (née McCloy), West Port, Ballyshannon, F94 CF60, retired owner of the Barbecue, Bundoran and Gallogley’s Jewellers.

Predeceased by her late husband Reggie and son Paul and baby daughter Catherine. Mary will be forever remembered by her daughter Leslie, son-in-law Declan and her grandchildren, James, Conor, Matthew, Lauren, Darragh, Diarmuid and Charlie. Mary will be sadly missed by Katrina, Deedee, her brother-in-law Fr Vincent Gallogley of the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh and extended family circle and friends.

Her remains are reposing at the family home on Tuesday, May 9 from 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning from her family home at 10.30am to arrive at St Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon, or any family member.

The funeral Mass shall be streamed live via the parish webcam. 

Sr Margaret Mary McGread, Ballyshannon and Omagh

The death has occurred of Sr Margaret Mary McGread, St Catherine's Convent of Mercy, Ballyshannon and formerly of Tattysallagh, Omagh, County Tyrone.

Predeceased by her sisters, Teresa, Mary, Gertrude and brothers Patrick and Fr Tommy and her fondly remembered twin sister Christina, she is sadly missed by the St Catherine's Mercy Community, Ballyshannon and the wider Mercy Community of the Northern Province, all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Her remains are reposing St Catherine's Convent of Mercy, Ballyshannon F94 D309 on Thursday from 2pm to 6pm.

Removal on Friday morning going to St Patrick's Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 11pm with interment afterwards in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. Sr Margaret Mary's funeral mass shall be streamed live on the parish webcam.

PJ McGinty, Manorcunningham

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of PJ McGinty, 204 Corkey, Manorcunningham F92 X9K5.

Loving son of Veronica McGinty and the late Raymond Crossan, he is deeply missed by his loving sister Sarah Louise, grandmother Margaret Crossan (Letterkenny), aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral from his late residence on Thursday at 10.15am going to St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

Paul McKenna, Rathmullan and Antrim

The death has occurred peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital of Paul McKenna, Kinnegar Road, Rathmullan F92 D2E5 and late of Antrim Town, Antrim and Desertmartin, Co Derry.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Cáit Jim), he is deeply regretted by his loving family, Maureen (Maynard), Paul, Pádraic and Áine, son-in-law Ivan, daughters-in-law Valerie and Orlaith, grandchildren, Laoise, Seán Paul, Maria, Aoibhín and Dana, brother Peter, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan with burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Sr Margaret Mary Larkin, Tullamore and Fahan

The death has occurred at Nazareth House, Fahan of Sister Margaret Mary Larkin, Cornalaur, Rahan, Tullamore, County Offaly and Sister of Nazareth, Nazareth House, Fahan.

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Annie and her brothers Joseph, Peter and Kieran; much loved sister of Fursey, James and Ann Doherty (Clonmany). Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and especially by Sisters of Nazareth Community, Fahan.

Her remains reposed overnight at St Carthage's Church, Killina, Rahan, County Offaly arriving at approximately 6pm to repose overnight.

Bríd Sweeney, Ardara

The death has occurred of Bríd Sweeney (neé Boyle) ,Tullymore, Ardara on May 1, her birthday, peacefully at her home.

Beloved wife of the late John Joe Sweeney. Predeceased by her brother Sean, sisters Mary and Philomena. Deeply regretted by her loving family; John (Rosemarie), Neil (Mary), Martin (Grainne), Danny (Margaret), Conal (Marena), Annmarie (Martin), Kevin (Nickie), Anthony (Teresa), Gerard (Dot), Sinéad (Declan). Sadly missed by her 35 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, her brother Paddy, sisters Annie, Winnie and Teresa and all her relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral from her residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am to The Church of The Holy Family, Ardara, for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael James (Jim) McIntyre, Cork and Creevy

The death has occurred of Michael James (Jim) McIntyre, Passage West, Cork / Creevy on May 1, peacefully at home, late of the Naval Service and IFI Marina Point.

Beloved husband of Mary (née Kelly) and loving father of John, Shane and Cassandra, he is sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, son-in-law Brendan, daughters-in-law Carol and Trudy, brother Michael, sisters Mary, Dolores and Margot, extended family, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12.30pm in Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Haulbowline, funeral afterwards at The Island Crematorium which may be viewed at 2pm at www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/

Tommy Graham, Laghey

The death has occurred peacefully of Tommy Graham, Rathneeny, Laghey at Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Mullinasole, Laghey.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, children Johny (Adele), Julie (Martin) and Andrew, grandchildren David, Emma, Tori, Laura and Jamie and great-grandchildren.

The death has occurred of Maura McMenamin (Nana), Ardeevin, Barnesmore, Donegal Town.

Bríd Tennyson, Glasgow and Gortahork

The death has taken place in Southern General Hospital Glasgow, of Bríd (Hughie John) Tennyson (née Gallagher), Glasgow and formerly of Baltoney, Gortahork,

Predeceased by parents Frances and Hughie Gallagher, sisters Mary and Nora, and brothers John and Seamus. She is survived by her husband Davie Tennyson, 11 brothers and sisters, daughters Caroline, Eileen, Maureen, Bernadette, Rosaleen, son David, 18 grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Her remains will repose at the family home in Fanaboy on Friday from 5pm to 9pm with Rosary at 9 pm.
