The peaceful death has taken place of James McHugh Cullion Road, Letterkenny F92 K7NH and formerly of Killygordon.
Predeceased by his daughter Wendy and sister Bridie Wilson. Deeply missed by his loving wife Patricia and family Vanessa and husband George Savva (Churchill), Jason and wife Majella (Drumoghill), Debra and husband Ciarán Harvey (Coolboy, Letterkenny) and Darren (Letterkenny), grandchildren Lucas, Sophie, Katie, Adam, Sam, Caolán, Áine, Seán and Eoghan, brother Eddie (Lifford) and sister Ann O’Connor (Killygordon), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

James’ remains will repose at his late residence from 2pm until 10pm on Sunday, April 23 and from 12noon until 10pm on Monday, April 24. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday, April 25 at 10.15am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on the Parish YouTube channel.

Interment afterwards to St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill. House private on the morning of the Funeral please.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Haematology and Oncology, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

Peggy McGinley (née Gallagher), Kilrane, Cloghan

The death has occurred of Peggy McGinley (née Gallagher), Kilrane, Cloghan F93 Y659. She was pre-deceased by her husband John and infant son James Joseph. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Susan, Noreen and husband Tom Cooney, son Hughie and partner, Claire Doherty and grandchildren John and Ellen Cooney, neighbours and friends.

Peggy will repose at her home from 2pm on Sunday, April 23. Funeral Mass at 2pm on Tuesday, April 25 in The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfinn with burial afterwards in Kilteevogue Cemetery. The funeral Mass can be viewed on:

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Josephine Clarke, Moneen, Ballindrait, Lifford.

Lovingly missed by her brothers and sisters, Colm, John, Mary, Sally, Patsy, Monica, Oliver, Teresa, Liam, Geraldine, Noeleen, Clement and Majella, sisters-in-law, bothers-in-law and all her nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Josephine was predeceased by her parents Charles and Bridget Clarke and brother James, may they rest in peace.

Josephine will be reposing at her late residence Moneen, Ballindrait, on Sunday evening from 6pm to 10pm and Monday from 11am to 10pm. Funeral from her late residence on Tuesday, April 25 at 11.20am going to St Patrick’s Church, Murlog for 12pm Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.

Bernadette O' Sullivan (née Mulharter), Glasbolie, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Bernadette O' Sullivan (née Mulharter), Glasbolie, Ballintra.

She passed away at the Rock Nursing Unit, Ballyshannon, surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted by her daughter, Evelyn and by her adored grandchildren, Jo-Anne, Veronica and Ryan. Forever remembered by her great grandchildren, Jason, Eloise and Sean-óg and all extended relatives and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her daughter, Evelyn, Glasbolie, Ballintra on Sunday from 3pm until 9pm.

Removal to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra, on Monday for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has occurred of Val Phillips Drogheda, Louth and Letterkenny.

Johnny Sweeney, 12 Muckish, Terrace, Creeslough

The death has taken place of Johnny Sweeney, 12 Muckish, Terrace, Creeslough.

No wake at the request of the deceased.

His remains will arrive at St Michael's Church, Creeslough, on Sunday April 23 at 6pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass there on Monday, April 24, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Doe graveyard.

Nora Sweeney, Magheragallon, Gweedore

The sudden death has taken place in Galway University Hospital of Nora Sweeney, Magheragallon, Gweedore.

Her remains are reposing at her home, Sunday from 12 noon to 8pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg on Monday, April 24, at 11am, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Anne Maloney (née Mc Kemey), Fanad and Leeds

The death has occurred of Anne Maloney (née Mc Kemey) Doocarrick, Ballyherrin, Fanad Feanville and Leeds, UK. She passed away peacefully at Leeds General Infirmary, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Les (April 2019) and deeply regretted by her children Charles, Margaret, John, Annette, Robert and Sarah. Sadly missed by her brothers Charlie, Douglas and George, sister-in-law Margaret, her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

A wake will be held at Anne’s home in Doocarrick on Sunday, April 23 from 12 noon to 6pm.

A Service will be held in the Church of Christ the Redeemer, Rossnakill on Monday, April 24 at 2pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Stroke Association UK care of any family member.

Mary McBride, Toragh, Lough Salt Road, Glen

The sudden death has taken place of Mary McBride, Toragh, Lough Salt Road, Glen. F92 D308.
 
Mary is survived by her husband Kevin and son Tiarnan, her mother Christine, her brothers Thomas and Patrick, her sisters Tina, Eileen and Caroline, nieces, nephews, in-laws and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral from there on Monday, April 24, going to the Church of St. John the Baptist, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery.

Tony Clarke, 24 Cloncool Park, Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Tony Clarke, 24 Cloncool Park, Buncrana. Husband of Michelle and dear father of Nicola, Darren, Shannon, Callum, Jordan, Caolán and Molly.

Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, his extended family and friends.

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home (F93PW96) on Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27 from 6pm to 9pm each evening.

Removal Friday April 28 at 9.15am to St Mary's Oratory, Buncrana for 10am Requiem Mass followed by cremation at 4pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Burke, Carrowntober West, Athenry, Galway, Athlone, Westmeath and Ardara.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and his parents Pa and Bridgie. He passed away peacefully in Galway Hospice. Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Willie, sister in-law Brenda, nephew Ian and his partner Tracy, Aunt Josie, brother in-law Ronan, sister in-law Finola, extended family, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Sunday, April 23 from 6pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Monday, April 24 for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Removal from his brother Willie’s home in Carrowntober West, Athenry on Tuesday, April 25 at 11am where Paddy will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Eileen in the Church of The Holy Family Cemetery, Ardara for approximately 4pm. Keeva Coughlin, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Keeva Coughlin, aged 11, Upper Creevy, Ballyshannon (Eircode:F94DV29).

She passed away on April 20, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly loved daughter of Hannah and Michael Des and sister of Grace, Jodie and Lilly. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, Saint Cecelia’s School Community, Sligo and many friends.

Reposing at her home on Saturday, April 22, from 2pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon on Sunday, April 23, at 1pm.

Removal from there at 11.30am on Sunday, April 23, arriving at St. Columba’s Church, Massmount for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Elaine Goudie, Raphoe

The death has occurred of Elaine Goudie (née Gillespie), Carrickadawson, Raphoe, Donegal, F93 XVA4.

The death has taken place at Sligo University Hospital of Elaine Goudie née Gillispie, Carrickadawson, Raphoe F93XVA4. Beloved wife of Leslie. Predeceased by her father Willie John and brother David. Cherished daughter of Gretta. Dearly loved mother of Lesley Ann, Louise, Rachel and Jonathan, sons-in-law Stuart and Darren. Loving nanna of Sophie and Jamie. Elaine will be remembered with love by her sister Beatrice, brother Kenneth, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday, April 23 at 2.15pm for 3pm Funeral Service in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Raphoe, followed by burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.

Johnny Patton, Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Johnny Patton, Glebe Hollow, Stranorlar. He passed away peacefully at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Bridie and much-loved father of Paul (Liz), Gráinne (John), Mark (Shirley) and Stephen (Fiona).

Cherished grandfather of Lisa, Shauna, Aoife, Eimear, Conor, Kerrie, James, Dearbhla, Sinead and Sean. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and very many friends.

Reposing at the home of his son Mark Patton, Mullanachose, Ballybofey, F93 H6FD.

The death has taken place on Friday, April 21 at his home after a short illness of Hughie Sweeney, The Farrigans, Drumkeen.

Predeceased by his son, baby Eamonn. Deeply missed by his loving wife Brigid and family Maria, Steven, Hugh Enda, Elaine, Raymond, Caroline, Gary and Sandra, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral from his late residence on Sunday, April 23 at 1.45pm going to St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen via Stralongford, for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm which can be viewed on Craigs Media Facebook page.

Rachael Connolly, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Rachael Connolly, 1 Ballymagan, Buncrana. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her mother and father, her brothers and sisters especially her sister Sophia, her extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home on Saturday from 1pm to 8pm. The wake is strictly private to family and close friends only and is strictly private on the morning of the funeral.

Removal on Sunday, April 23 at 10.15am to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred of John Gallagher (John Jack Bán), late of Baltony, Gortahork on April 13 in Mount Anthony, Rathmines, Dublin 6. 

Survived by his sons John and Seamus, daughters Bríd and Niamh, sisters Madge and Margaret, brothers Seamus and Josie.

Reposing at Gallagher Funeral Directors, Gortahork, Saturday, April 22 from 4pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass will take place in Christ the King Church, Gortahork, on Sunday, April 23 at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
