The death has occurred of Joyce Rundle, Spierstown, Donegal Town

Peacefully at her residence.

Deeply regretted by her son Matthew (Aisling) and daughter Lindsey, and adored grandchildren Aaron, Grace and Jenna. Funeral arrangements later. House private, please

Simon Nolan, Ballydevitt, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Simon Nolan, peacefully at his home, Shirley, Croydon, formerly of Ballydevitt, Donegal Town. Dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife, Philomena (nee McGinty, Townawilly), children, Isabella, Caoimhe, Matthew and Noelle. Predeceased by his parents, Ann and Matthew.

The funeral Mass is on Tuesday, March 28, at 10am in Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, Addiscombe, Croydon.

Edward McFadden, Raheny, Dublin and Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of Edward McFadden, Raheny, Dublin and Kilmacrennan. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Beaumont Hospital.

Beloved husband of Dympna and loving father of Colette, Kevin, Marie, Louise, Stephen and Emer. Sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, daughters-in-law Claire and Jennifer, grandchildren Martha, Lorcan, James, Oran, Sophia and Sarah, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the family home on Wednesday, March 29, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday to the Church of St Brendan, Coolock Village arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.

Patrick J. Doherty, Dublin/Ture, Muff

The death has taken place of Patrick J. Doherty of Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin and formerly of Ture, Muff.

He passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, in the care of the staff at Aclare Nursing Home, Co Dublin.

Beloved brother of Lily (Byrne) and the late Alice, Eddie and Catherine. He will be sadly missed by his sister, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Reposing in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, Co. Dublin (A94 XK28) on Tuesday, March 28 from 2pm to 4pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 29 at 9am in St John’s Church, Mounttown, Dun Laoghaire followed by burial in Sacred Heart Churchyard, Muff, due 4pm.

Eamonn Ferry, Carnamuggagh Upper, Letterkenny

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Eamonn Ferry, Carnamuggagh Upper, Letterkenny, F92 H96C.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa, sons Charlie, Eamonn and Garreth, daughter Sara, son-in-law Gavin, daughters-in-law Colette, Helena and Amy, grandchildren, sister Mary, brothers-in-law Charlie and John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at his home.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 29 at 1pm in St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlin with burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Family time please from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Philomena Morrison (née Clingan), 22 Cúl na Cille, Ramelton and Rathmullan

The death has occurred of Philomena Morrison (née Clingan), 22 Cúl na Cille, Ramelton F92 X205 and Rathmullan. 

She passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving partner Jim, family DD, Philip, Rachel and Rebecca, grandchildren, sisters Mary, Jean and Nora, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her sons Stephen, Leslie and Gary, daughter Michelle, brothers Davy, George and Bobby.

Remains are reposing at her home. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 29 at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Hugh (Hudie) Fisher, Mullavea, Portnoo

The death has taken place at his home of Hugh (Hudie) Fisher, Mullavea, Portnoo, F94EOV6.

Deeply regretted by his loving Wife Kathleen, daughters Majella, Gloria (Gerry), Breda (Anthony), and son Gerard (Sabrina). He will be sadly missed by his wider family circle, grandchildren, neighbours and friends.

Funeral from there at 10.15am on Tuesday to St Conal's Church, Kilclooney for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Joe Long, Meencarrigach, Ballybofey

The death has occurred in London, England of Joe Long, formerly Meencarrigach, Ballybofey. Beloved son of the late Susan and Joseph Long and much-loved husband of the late Christine. Dearly loved father to Joey, Jacqueline, and Mark, cherished brother of Mai, Anne, Patricia, Elizabeth, Carmel and the late Susie, Maggie and John.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughter, sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family and friends.

The funeral will take place in London on Wednesday, March 29. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, on Wednesday, March 29 at 10am.

The death has occurred unexpectedly at his late residence of Michael Joseph Strain, 223 Ros Suilighe Oldtown, Letterkenny. 

Sadly missed by patients Mary and John, sisters Mary, Josephine and Hannah, and brothers Edward and Sean. Deeply regretted by extended family members neighbours and friends.

The death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Margaret McGonagle (née Doherty), O’Gara Villas, Moville.

Family time please from 11pm to 11pm. Her remains are reposing at her home.

The funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by burial in Ballybrack Cemetery.

Mary Ellen Whoriskey, Whoriskey’s Shop, The Mall, Ramelton

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, surrounded by her family, of Mary Ellen Whoriskey, Whoriskey’s Shop, The Mall, Ramelton.

Dearly loved wife of Hugo and loving mother of Hugh, John, Anita and Gillian. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Marty and Conor, Hugh’s partner Christine, her grandchildren Kaleb, Jolan, Elli, Ronan, Cora and Rionach, her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and very many friends.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. 

Molly Bourne (née Gallen), Rareagh, Newmills/Meenareagh, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Molly Bourne (née Gallen), Rareagh, Newmills and formerly of Meenareagh, Killygordon, F92 XR1H.

Predeceased by her loving husband Mickey Bourne, her brothers Patrick and Anthony. Sadly missed by her daughter Bried, and granddaughters Kelly Anne and Molly Michelle.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 1pm in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Patrick (Neil) McGlynn, Ardlaghan, Cloghan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Neil) McGlynn, Ardlaghan, Cloghan, at Letterkenny University Hospital.

He is survived by his brother Anthony and his wife Grace, Ardlaghan, his sister Mary Prendergast and husband Joe, Melbourne, Australia. His nephews, Anthony Prendergast, Australia, Patrick and Conal McGlynn, (partner Melda) and also by Matthew and Dylan.

Patrick’s remains are reposing at his nephew Conal McGlynn’s home.

Removal on Tuesday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the family plot in Kilteevoge Cemetery, Glenfin.

Theo James Crampsey, Scotland and Donegal

A Memorial Mass will take place in St Mary's Church, Bocan, Culdaff, on Easter Monday, April 10 at 11am for Theo James Crampsey, who passed away on March 7 aged five.

Loving son of Leann and Finbar, precious brother to Rhys and Aimee, dearly loved by all the family, local and in Ireland. 

Charlie McDonagh, 8 Railway Park, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Charlie McDonagh, 8 Railway Park, Donegal Town. He passed away peacefully aged 21 years after a long illness bravely borne. 

Funeral mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 11am, with burial afterwards in Clar churchyard.
