Joe Long, Ballybofey
The death has occurred in London, England of Joe Long, formerly Meencarrigach, Ballybofey. Beloved son of the late Susan and Joseph Long and much-loved husband of the late Christine. Dearly loved father to Joey, Jacqueline, and Mark, cherished brother of Mai, Anne, Patricia, Elizabeth, Carmel and the late Susie, Maggie and John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughter, sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family and friends.
The funeral will take place in London on Wednesday, March 29. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, on Wednesday, March 29 at 10am.

Michael Joseph Strain, Letterkenny
The death has occurred Unexpectedly at his late residence of Michael Joseph Strain, 223 Ros Suilighe Oldtown, Letterkenny.
Sadly missed by patients Mary and John, sisters Mary, Josephine and Hannah, and brothers Edward and Sean.
Deeply regretted by extended family members neighbors and friends. Micheal's remains will repose in Eternal Light Chapel of Rest Mountain Top Letterkenny F92 XE35 from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, March 27.

Margaret McGonagle, Moville
The death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Margaret McGonagle (Née Doherty), O’Gara Villas, Moville.
Her remains will repose at her home from 6pm, Sunday March 26. Family time please from 11pm to 11pm. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Mary Ellen Whoriskey, Ramelton
The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, surrounded by her family, of Mary Ellen Whoriskey, Whoriskey’s Shop, The Mall, Ramelton.
Dearly loved wife of Hugo and loving Mother of Hugh, John, Anita and Gillian. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Marty and Conor, Hugh’s partner Christine, her grandchildren Kaleb, Jolan, Elli, Ronan, Cora and Rionach, her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and very many friends.
Reposing at the family home, Milford Road, Ramelton, F92 YP65, Sunday, March 26 from 6pm to 10.00pm and on Monday from 11am to 10am. Family time on the morning of the funeral. Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Molly Bourne, Newmills and Killygordon
The death has occurred of Molly Bourne (Nee Gallen), Rareagh, Newmills and formerly of Meenareagh, Killygordon, F92 XR1H.
Predeceased by her loving husband Mickey Bourne, her brothers Patrick and Anthony. Sadly missed by her daughter Bried, and granddaughters Kelly Anne and Molly Michelle.
Her remains will be reposing at her late residence from 6pm, Sunday, March 26. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 1pm in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Patrick McGlynn, Cloghan
The death has occurred of Patrick (Neil) McGlynn, Ardlaghan, Cloghan, at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Patrick is survived by his brother Anthony and his wife Grace, Ardlaghan; his sister Mary Prendergast and husband Joe, Melbourne, Australia. His nephews, Anthony Prendergast, Australia; Patrick and Conal McGlynn, (partner Melda) and also by Matthew and Dylan.
Patrick’s remains will repose at his nephew Conal McGlynn’s home from 5pm on Sunday, March 26. A shuttle bus will run from Harkins bar car park 6pm on both nights. The Rosary will take place both nights at 9pm. Family time from 10pm to 11am.
Removal on Tuesday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the family plot in Kilteevoge Cemetery, Glenfin.

Eilish Sweeney, Letterkenny
The death has occurred at her home, in her 97th year, in the care of her loving family of Eilish Sweeney, (née Conaghan), 54, Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny, (F92 WCN5).
Predeceased by her beloved husband William, daughter Collettee and son-in-law Jim Archibald, sadly missed by her family, sons Andy (Dublin), Hughie (Letterkenny), Mark (Perth) and Colm (Letterkenny), daughters Geraldine Durning and Janice Archibald (Letterkenny), 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister Noreen O’Boyle (Breenagh), daughters-in-law Mary, Moira, Anne and Michelle, son-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her late residence with Rosary each night at 9pm.

Margaretta Birchenough, Ballintra
The death has occurred of Margaretta Isobel Birchenough, nee Boyd, Upper Glassbolie, Ballintra, Co. Donegal and formerly of Stockport, England.
She passed away peacefully, at the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her family and with the unstinting and loving care of all the staff. Predeceased by her dear husband Hugh, sadly missed by her children Diane, Nigel and Adrain, her brothers Jim Boyd, Thomas Boyd and her sister Matilda Corscadden. Her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends.
Funeral service will take place at St Anne's Church, Ballyshannon, Monday at 1pm, followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 5.30pm. House private at all times, please. The death has taken place peacefully n the loving care of the staff at TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth, of Patrick (Pat) Brennan, Woodfarm Ave, Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and formerly of Ardara.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy and dear father of Louise, Ronan, Onagh and Lorna; sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, James, Eleanor, Sophie, Sarah and Matthew, sons-in-law Dan and David, sister Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His remains are reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.
Removal on Monday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
Mary Duffy McCoy, England and Letterkenny
The peaceful death has occurred at her home at St Cecilia’s, England of Mary Duffy McCoy, formerly Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.
Deeply missed by her loving family Anne, Josephine, Hope, Alice, Susan, Gail, Edmond and Tony, sister Annette Duffy (Letterkenny), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours in London, Drumkeen and Letterkenny.
She is predeceased by her husband PJ McCoy and her brothers James Duffy (Letterkenny) and John Charles Duffy (Drumkeen).
Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary’s life will take place at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bromley BR1 3FH at 12 noon on Monday, March 27 and can be live streamed on the parish YouTube channel or by clicking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WeZLT0EG5s
You are invited to join the family after the funeral at Sundridge Park Golf Course, Garden Road, Bromley BR1 3NE to share stories and memories of Mary over lunch. Over the past 20 years, Mary and her family have been supported by the most remarkable care from two charities, Leonard Cheshire and St Christopher’s Hospice.
