A Memorial Mass will take place in St Mary's Church, Bocan, Culdaff, on Easter Monday, April 10 at 11am for Theo James Crampsey, who passed away on March 7 aged five.
Loving son of Leann and Finbar, precious brother to Rhys and Aimee, dearly loved by all the family, local and in Ireland.

James Gethins, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of James (Seamus) Gethins, Finner, Ballyshannon.

He passed away peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his wife Loretta and his children Mary, Jimmy, Patricia, John Joe, Patrick, Loretta, Annmarie, Finbar and Gerry.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, sisters Annie, Gertie, Patsy and Mary Ellen, grandchildren Aaron and baby Eamon. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and all extended family.

Reposing at his residence on Saturday, March 25 from 3pm to 8pm and Sunday, from 2pm to 6pm. House private at all other times, please.

Removal on Monday morning to St Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Alzheimer's Society c/o of John McGee & Sons Funeral Directors or any family member.

Charlie Mc Donagh, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Charlie Mc Donagh, 8 Railway Park, Donegal Town. He passed away peacefully aged 21years after a long illness bravely borne. 

His remains will be reposing at Gallagher's Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (Eircode F94 WN24) on Monday, March 27th from 4pm until 6pm. Removal afterwards to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town arriving at 7pm, to repose overnight. Funeral mass on Tuesday, March 28 at 11am, with burial afterwards in Clar churchyard.

Rosie Catterson, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Rosie Catterson, Mounthall, Crossroads, Killygordon.

Reposing at the family home from 8pm on Saturday, March 25. Funeral from the family home on Monday, March 27 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11 am in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Margaretta Birchenough, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Margaretta Isobel Birchenough, nee Boyd, Upper Glassbolie, Ballintra, Co. Donegal and formerly of Stockport, England.

She passed away peacefully, at the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her family and with the unstinting and loving care of all the staff. Predeceased by her dear husband Hugh, sadly missed by her children Diane, Nigel and Adrain, her brothers Jim Boyd, Thomas Boyd and her sister Matilda Corscadden. Her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends.

Funeral service will take place at St Anne's Church, Ballyshannon, Monday at 1pm, followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 5.30pm. House private at all times, please. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Rock Patient Comfort Fund c/o John McGee & Sons funeral directors.

Brid Boyle, Kilcar 

The death has occurred of Brid Boyle, Towney, Kilcar. Remains reposing at McCabe's Funeral Home, Ardara on Saturday, March 25 from 3pm to 5pm. Removal at 5.15pm to arrive at St Cartha's Church, Kilcar at 6pm. Funeral mass Sunday, March 26 at 11am. Interment afterwards in Kilcar Cemetery.

Anne Meade, Lifford

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Anne Meade, The Diamond, Lifford.

Daughter of the late Percy and Alice Meade, and sister of the late Sean.

Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Maura and Alice, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and extended family.

Reposing at her late residence on Friday, March 24 from 5pm until 8pm, and on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.

Removal on Saturday at 5pm going to St.Patricks Church, Murlog to arrive at 5.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 26 at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only.

Gerry Campbell, Carndonagh

The sudden death has taken place of Gerry Campbell, Moss Road, Carndonagh.

His remains will be reposing at his home from 6pm on Friday, March 24.

Funeral leaving there on Sunday afternoon, March 26 at 2pm going to Hillhead Presbyterian Church, Carndonagh for funeral service with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Ellen Ramsay, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Ellen ‘Nell’ Ramsay, nee Smith, Kiltoy, Letterkenny F92 E0KV.

She passed away peacefully in the caring hands of the staff in Larissa Lodge nursing home, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by husband Alfie (2013), parents James and Frances Smith. Devoted mother to daughter Diane Thomason (Glebe, Letterkenny), sons Paul and Ivor (Kiltoy). Mother in Law to Stephen, Pauline & Caroline. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Olivia & Leona Thompson. Deeply regretted by sister Elizabeth (Lily) extended family, neighbours and friends.

Ellen’s remains are reposing at her son Ivor’s home (F92 E0KV).

Funeral service there at 2pm on Sunday, March 26 followed by interment in Gortlee cemetery.

Family time between 10pm and 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Peggy Mc Elwaine, Glenswilly and Fanad

The peaceful death has occurred of Peggy Mc Elwaine, nee Doherty, Killymasney, Glenswilly and formerly Rinmore, Fanad.

Peggy’s remains will repose at the home of her daughter, Anne Marie and Martin Harrold, Killymasney, Glenswilly, F92 D934 from 7.30pm on  Friday, March 24.

Rosary on Friday and Saturday at 8pm.

Removal from there on Sunday, March 26 at 11.30am travelling via Rinmore, Fanad to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for 1pm Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Ionad Cois Locha Day Centre C/O any family member.

There will be a shuttle bus in operation both evenings from Glenswilly National School.

House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Peter Gallagher, Killygordon

The death has taken place of Peter (Petsy) Gallagher, Ballinaman, Killygordon, at Letterkenny University Hospital.

The wake is strictly private at the request of the deceased.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 26 at 1pm at St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon and interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Tom Burke, Narin and Portnoo, and Mayo

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Tom Burke,  Narin and Portnoo, formerly of Balinrobe, Co Mayo.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Eileen, and sons Michael and Peter. Predeceased by his sons, Liam and Leonard. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law, Eileen, Catherine, Jude and Marian, grandchildren, Aine, Eoin, Conor, Samuel, Niamh, David, Sarah and Robert, sister in law, Pat, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday, March 24 from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 3pm to 9pm.

Funeral from there on Sunday, March 26 at 10.30am to St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

George Noel McDaid, Raphoe

The death has taken place of George Noel McDaid, 24 Cathedral Hill, Raphoe at the home of his daughter Wendy Holderness, 8 Summerset Drive, Northampton, England.

Predeceased by his late wife Ellen known as Biddy. Deeply regretted by his daughter Wendy, son-in-law William, son John, daughter-in-law Jane, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and wider family circle.

His remains will repose at his late residence on Saturday, March 25 from 10am to 10pm. Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Sunday, March 26 at 10.30am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish heart foundation and Mary’s meals care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director.

Brendan Gallagher, Mountcharles

The peaceful death has occurred at home of Brendan (Dessie) Gallagher, Main Street, Mountcharles and formerly of Bruckless. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, wife Kathleen, daughter Caroline, sons Shaun and Brendan Og, parents Dessie and Bernie Gallagher, brothers and sisters Pauric (Janet), Sinead (Kenny), Claire (Hugh), Nuala (Ciaran), Rory (Claire), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, on Friday, March 24, from 3pm until 8pm, and at the family home on Saturday, March 25 from 2pm until 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 26  at 2pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Friends of Letterkenny Cancer Bus. House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

Sheila Kelly, Solihull and Burtonport

The death has taken place on March 19 of Sheila Kelly, nee Boner, Solihull, England, formerly of Leffin, Burtonport.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Pat Brennan, Ardara and Dublin

The death has taken place peacefully n the loving care of the staff at TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth, of Patrick (Pat) Brennan, Woodfarm Ave., Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and formerly of Ardara.

Beloved husband of the late Nancy and dear father of Louise, Ronan, Onagh and Lorna; sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, James, Eleanor, Sophie, Sarah and Matthew, sons-in-law Dan and David, sister Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains are reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.

Removal on Monday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery. 

Mary Duffy McCoy, England and Letterkenny

The peaceful death has occurred at her home at St Cecilia’s, England of Mary Duffy McCoy, formerly Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by her loving family Anne, Josephine, Hope, Alice, Susan, Gail, Edmond and Tony, sister Annette Duffy (Letterkenny), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours in London, Drumkeen and Letterkenny.

She is predeceased by her husband PJ McCoy and her brothers James Duffy (Letterkenny) and John Charles Duffy (Drumkeen).

Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary’s life will take place at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bromley BR1 3FH at 12 noon on Monday, March 27 and can be live streamed on the parish YouTube channel or by clicking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WeZLT0EG5s

You are invited to join the family after the funeral at Sundridge Park Golf Course, Garden Road, Bromley BR1 3NE to share stories and memories of Mary over lunch. Mary adored vibrant colours and patterns and therefore, if you feel comfortable, the family would love you to wear something colourful that makes you happy, as they remember Mary.

Over the past 20 years, Mary and her family have been supported by the most remarkable care from two charities, Leonard Cheshire and St Christopher’s Hospice.
