Brendan Gallagher, Mountcharles

The peaceful death has occurred at home of Brendan (Dessie) Gallagher, Main Street, Mountcharles and formerly of Bruckless. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, wife Kathleen, daughter Caroline, sons Shaun and Brendan Og, parents Dessie and Bernie Gallagher, brothers and sisters Pauric (Janet), Sinead (Kenny), Claire (Hugh), Nuala (Ciaran), Rory (Claire), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, on Friday, March 24, from 3pm until 8pm, and at the family home on Saturday, March 25 from 2pm until 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 26  at 2pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Friends of Letterkenny Cancer Bus. House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

Bridget Fahy, Cork and Dungloe

The death has occurred of Bridget Fahy, Skibbereen, Co Cork and formerly of Dungloe, Co. Donegal. She passed away peacefully on March 22 in the exceptional care of the staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Home. Loving mother to David, John, Kevin, Anna Marie (Brazil) and Bernadette (O'Regan). Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Jackie and Bernard, sisters Frances and the late Ellie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her eight adored grandchildren, John Joe, relatives and all her former good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North Street, Skibbereen on Friday, March 24 from 7pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, March 25  at 11am, in St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, livestreamed on http://www.skibbereenandrath.ie/webcam/.

Cremation taking place at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy on Monday, March 27 at 2pm. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Parkinsons Association of Ireland.

Sheila Kelly, Solihull and Burtonport

The death has taken place on March 19 of Sheila Kelly, nee Boner, Solihull, England, formerly of Leffin, Burtonport.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Pat Brennan, Ardara and Dublin

The death has taken place peacefully n the loving care of the staff at TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth, of Patrick (Pat) Brennan, Woodfarm Ave., Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and formerly of Ardara.

Beloved husband of the late Nancy and dear father of Louise, Ronan, Onagh and Lorna; sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, James, Eleanor, Sophie, Sarah and Matthew, sons-in-law Dan and David, sister Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains are reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.

Removal on Monday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery. 

Brid O'Brien, Gaoth Dobhair

The death has taken place at her home of Brid O'Brien, Meenacladdy, Gweedore F92 EIO2.

Predeceased by husband Ned, son Maurice, parents Susan and Michael, sisters Cassie and Rosie and brother Donal, she is survived by her sons Hughie, Peadar and James, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Maire, Siobhan, Maggie, brothers Christy, Michael Joe, Michael Patrick, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence rosary both nights at 8pm. House private from 11pm to 9am.

Funeral arrangements to follow.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Donegal Hospice care of any family member.

Charlie Roarty, Galway and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Charlie (Cahal) Roarty, Demesne Cottages, Tuam, Galway and Letterkenny.

Beloved husband of the late Peggy (née Mulqueen), he is sadly missed by his loving sons Oisín, Cathal and Hugo, daughters Sarah and Maggie, grandchildren Darragh, Sadbh, Ben, Clara, Eoghan, Abaigh and Charlie, brothers, sisters, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home (H54 HN30) on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm.

Removal on Saturday to Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny arriving at 3pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Angelman Syndrome Ireland.

John Fullerton, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of John Fullerton, Clontarf, Dublin 3, late of Ballyshannon.

John, beloved husband of Patricia (Pat) and beloved son of the late Mick and Sally and brother of the late Mary, is sadly missed by his loving wife, extended family, relatives and friends.

His remains are reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning to St Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount, arriving for 10.30am Requiem Mass, with Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Noreen Mc Hugh, Ardara

The death has taken place of Noreen Mc Hugh, Laconnell Ardara.

Sadly missed by her loving father Packie, her brothers, Charlie and Patsy, her sisters Collette and Martina, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours, and predeceased by her mother Evelyn.

Her remains reposing at McCabe's funeral premises on Thursday from 6pm until 10pm. Funeral premises private to family on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from there on Friday morning at 10.40am, going to The Church of The Holy Family Ardara for 11.00am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Margaret McGlynn, Fintown

The death has occurred of Margaret McGlynn (née McNulty), Fintown, F94 CC80 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Stranorlar.

Beloved wife of Dom. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband, Dom, sons Michael, Martin, Dominic, Cathal and daughters Sheila and Mary El Essawi, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends, sister Ann McNulty and brothers Colm and Harry McNulty, Ballybofey.

Margaret's remains are reposing at her late residence.

Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Friday in St Colmcille's Chapel, Fintown, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Rosary nightly at 9 pm and family time from after the Rosary until 11 am.

Eddie McMullin, Dundalk, Donegal Town and Kilkenny City

The death has occurred peacefully in Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda of Edward (Eddie) McMullin, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co Louth and formerly of Donegal Town and Kilkenny.

Edward, beloved husband of Phil née Boyle, dear father of Fiona, Claire, Emer and Celine, loving granda of Clodagh, Alanna, Deirbhile, Micah, Dáire, Emmet, Daniel and Jamie, and brother of Jim, Kathleen, Laurence, Pat, Chris, Martin and the late Sean and Margaret. Edward will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons in law Paul and Mwape, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Edward will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91WX66) from 5pm to 7pm on Friday.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in St Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown. Burial in adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed on the www.churchservices.tv/haggardstown

Mary Jane Gillespie, Castlefin

The death has occurred peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family of Mary Jane Gillespie (née Harper), Carnadore, Castlefin, Donegal, F93 V977.

Beloved wife of the late Bertie and much loved mother of Geraldine, (Edwin), Maxine (Eamon), Charlene (Anthony), cherished sister of Kathleen, Rose and the late Bridget, dearly loved grandmother to Thomas, (Lauren), Atlantis, Joey, Amber, and great grandmother to Hollie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters, sisters, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchild, extended family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time from 10 pm to 12 noon, and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving from her late residence on Friday at 10.15 am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Crossroads, Killygordon at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon on the YouTube Channel.

Brigid McFadden, Leitrim, Monaghan and Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Brigid McFadden, Leitrim, Tyholland, Co Monaghan and formerly Ballyness, Falcarragh. 

Pre-deceased by her husband Joe McFadden, Brigid will be lovingly remembered by her sons Daniel and Paul (Heidi) and daughter Margaret Oliphant (Paul), grandchildren David. Ciara, Aidan, Ethan and Niamh, her sisters Sarah and Madge, brothers Edward and Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Brigid's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 at her home in Ballyness, Falcarragh, F92 R2F6, on Thursday from 2pm to 10pm.

Brigid's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 1pm at St.Fionán's Church, Falcarragh followed by burial at Gortahork Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The Alzheimer's Society, Monaghan, c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Darragh Steve Gallagher, Milford

The unexpected death has taken place of Darragh Steve Gallagher, Cinema House, Convent Road, Milford F92 X4T1.

Cherished and loved so much by his mammy (Maeve), dad (Ian), sister (Elaine), brother (Daniel), grandparents(Eileen and Phonsie McElwee, Milford and Mary and Danny Gallagher, Inver), aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandmothers (Peggy Campbell and Josie Gallagher) and god-parents (Colin and Carol McElwee).

Mass of the Angels in the family home on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in the family plot in Milford Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the National Ambulance Service. House private.

Michael Monagle, Kilkenny and Carndonagh

The death has occurred of Michael Monagle, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny and Priestown, Carndonagh - formerly of the National Bank and Bank of Ireland.

Deeply regretted by his wife Leonora (Leo) (née Cleary) and son James, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, extended family, colleagues, neighbours, and friends.

His remains are reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95 XE00) on Thursday from 4pm with Funeral Prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to St John's Church, Kilkenny. House private, please.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to St Kieran's Cemetery.

Eileen Marie Logue, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Eileen Marie (Evelyn) Logue (née Roarty), Letterkenny.

Beloved wife of Hugh and loving daughter of the late Liam and Margaret Roarty of Ard O'Donnell, Letterkenny and sister to Margaret, Billy, Patricia and the late Joe, sister-in-law to Frankie McNulty, Dee Roarty, Catherine Keys, Michael Logue and the late James Logue. Loving aunt to the many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She will be missed by her wide circle of friends including Inner Wheel, Cairndhu Golf Club and former colleagues at Eastern Health and Social Services Board.

She will repose at her home from Thursday, with a service at 2pm Friday, at 7 Bramble Grange, Newtownabbey BT37 OXH, followed by cremation at Roselawn at 3.20pm.

Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of Evelyn's soul on Monday, April 3, at 10am in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny.

Mary Duffy McCoy, England and Letterkenny

The peaceful death has occurred at her home at St Cecilia’s, England of Mary Duffy McCoy, formerly Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by her loving family Anne, Josephine, Hope, Alice, Susan, Gail, Edmond and Tony, sister Annette Duffy (Letterkenny), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours in London, Drumkeen and Letterkenny.

She is predeceased by her husband P.J. McCoy and her brothers James Duffy (Letterkenny) and John Charles Duffy (Drumkeen).

Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary’s life will take place at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bromley BR1 3FH at 12 noon on Monday  March 27 and can be live streamed on the parish YouTube channel or by clicking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WeZLT0EG5s 

You are invited to join the family after the funeral at Sundridge Park Golf Course, Garden Road, Bromley BR1 3NE to share stories and memories of Mary over lunch. Mary adored vibrant colours and patterns and therefore, if you feel comfortable, the family would love you to wear something colourful that makes you happy, as they remember Mary.

Over the past 20 years, Mary and her family have been supported by the most remarkable care from two charities, Leonard Cheshire and St Christopher’s Hospice.
