Sheila Boyle (née Greene), Fawans, Termon

The death has occurred of Sheila Boyle (née Greene), Fawans, Termon, F92 XDX9, and formerly of Glasgow. She passed away peacefully at her home.

Deeply regretted by her daughters Katrina and Michelle, son-in-law Enda, grandchildren Lauren, Liam and Maria, great-grandsons Kenzie, Conor and Liam, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers Bernard, Eddie and Jimmy.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 1, at 11am in St Columba's Church, Termon. Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 4pm.

Eileen Kennedy (née McDermott), Ernedale Heights Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Eileen Kennedy (née McDermott), Ernedale Heights Ballyshannon.

She passed away peacefully at the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit. Predeceased by her father Terry, mother Kathleen, brother Terence and sister Mary Rose. Eileen will be forever remembered by her husband Ted, children Trisha (Chris), Deirdre (Paul), Christopher (Catherine RIP), Claire (Sean) and Gary (Hanna).
 
She was much loved by her grandchildren Damien, Leigh, Bryan, Kealan, Evie, Hazel, Marcella, Katie, Greg, Lynsey, Jack, Rebecca, Conor and Odhran and her great-grandchildren, Ciaran, Michael, Teddy, Alex, Emmet, Isla, Ava, Lewis, Bobby and Jamie.
 
She will be sadly missed by her sisters Molly Ferguson (Michael), Belleek and Ester Hanley (Michael RIP), Cork.
Reposing at her late residence on Tuesday from 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.15 to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member.
House private to family on the morning of the funeral, please.

Míchéal Cunningham, 14 Sliabh Liag Avenue, Carrick Upper

The death has occurred of Míchéal Cunningham, 14 Sliabh Liag Avenue, Carrick Upper. He passed away peacefully in Killybegs Community Hospital in the excellent care of the Palliative Care team.

Pre-deceased by his brothers Proinnsias, Hugh and Conall, he will be sadly missed by his sisters Máire, Lucy and Cáit, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

His Remains will be reposing at the old family home, 14 Sliabh Liag Avenue, Carrick Upper, from 8pm Monday, February 27.  The house will be private from 10pm – 11am on both nights of the wake.  Removal to St. Columba’s Church, Carrick for Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 1, at 1pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place of Kathleen Shields, Umlagh, Carrigart.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Monday, February 27, at 6.30pm going to the Church of St John, the Baptist, Carrigart to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 28, at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Seamus McKinney, formerly of Bootagh, Lecamy, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at Beach Hill Manor Nursing Home, Lisfannan, Buncrana of Seamus McKinney, formerly of Bootagh, Lecamy, Carndonagh.

Removal today, Monday February 27 at 6pm from Liam Collins’s Funeral Premises, Unit 4, Carndonagh Business Centre, Station Road, Carndonagh going to the home of his sister-in-law, Mary McKinney, Bootagh, Lecamy, Carndonagh, F93 YE27.

Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, March 1 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has occurred of Peggy Dorrian, Mountcharles. She passed away peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town. Removal from Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Monday, February 27 at 7.45pm, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles arriving at 8pm. To repose overnight.

Maureen Lynch née Gallagher, London and formerly of Dromore, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Maureen Lynch née Gallagher, London and formerly of Dromore, Ballintra. She passed away peacefully at St Thomas’s Hospital, London. Removal from Carty and Gilmartins Funeral Home Kinlough on Wednesday, March 1 at 5pm via Rossnowlagh and Dromore, Ballintra to arrive at St Brigid’s Church Ballintra for prayers at 6pm and to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has occurred of Barrie Clerkin, 4, Wolfe Tone Place, Glencar, Letterkenny and Ballybofey, retired Postmaster, Blackrock, predeceased by his parents Peter and Joan and sister Audrey Halpin.

Deeply regretted by his family, brother Tony (Letterkenny), sisters Maureen McGlynn (Letterkenny) and Valerie Martin, brothers-in-law John (Letterkenny), Dermot and John, sister-in-law Jan, nieces, nephews and extended family circle.

Reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny from 2.30pm to 5.30pm Monday, February 27, concluding with removal to St. Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny for

Margaret Moohan, Bundoran

The death has occurred of  Margaret Moohan, (née Murphy), Drumacrin, Bundoran. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  President of Bundoran GAA Club and beloved wife of the late Gerry Moohan and loving mother to Bosco, Pauline (Keaney), Majella (Gethins) and Gearldine (Walsh).

Deeply regretted by her loving son, daughters, sons-in-law, her adored 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, her brothers Terence (Mary), Hughie, sister Bridget (Sean), sister-in-law Mary (UK) and all her many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family home on Monday from 4pm to 9pm. House private at all other times, please.

Removal from there on Tuesday at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, burial afterwards in Finner Cemetery, Bundoran.

Simon Nolan, London and Donegal Town

The death has occurred peacefully at his home in Shirley, Croydon, of Simon Nolan, formerly of Ballydevitt, Donegal Town.

Predeceased by his parents, Ann and Matthew, he is dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife, Philomena (née McGinty, Townawilly), children, Isabella, Caoimhe, Matthew and Noelle.

John Doherty, Carndonagh

The death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice of John Doherty, 35 Balmain, Carrowrea Road, Carndonagh.

John’s remains are reposing at his late residence, with family time from 11pm to 10am.
