Deaths in Donegal on Monday morning
The following deaths have occurred:

- Bridie McDonald, Quigley’s Point
- Denis Doherty, Culdaff and Dublin
- Mary Kinsella, Ballyshannon and Dublin
- David Devine, Manchester and Lifford
Simon Nolan, London and Donegal Town
The death has occurred peacefully at his home in Shirley, Croydon, of Simon Nolan, formerly of Ballydevitt, Donegal Town.
Predeceased by his parents, Ann and Matthew, he is dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife, Philomena (née McGinty, Townawilly), children, Isabella, Caoimhe, Matthew and Noelle.
Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
Ronald Wilson, Ballybofey and London
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Ronald Wilson, 61 The Beeches, Navenny, Ballybofey, and formerly London.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née Mc Gowan) and much loved father to Richard and Ian, dearly loved brother of the late Keith. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughters in law Lucy and Karen, grandchildren Ellie, Harry and Paddy, sisters in law, brothers in law nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
His remains reposing at McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey, on Monday with visiting time from 7pm to 9pm.
Private cremation will take place on Tuesday in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. A Service of Thanksgiving and burial of ashes will take place in Ruislip, London later.
Etta Hayes, Killygordon and Raphoe
The death has occurred of Margaretta Elizabeth (Etta) Hayes
The peaceful death has take place of Margaretta Elizabeth Hayes, known as Etta, at the home of her daughter Pamela and son-in-law Stanley Patterson, Clonarl, Killygordon. Etta formerly lived at Lisnoble, Raphoe.
Deeply regretted by her son John and daughter-in- law Marion, daughter Valerie, daughter Pamela and son-in-law Stanley. Etta will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Rachel, Sarah, Emma, George, Iain and Kathryn. Also her great-grandchildren Josh, Faith, Leah, Zoe, Hannah and Freddie, extended family and friends.
Her remains will repose at Clonarl on Monday. House private from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday at 1pm for 2pm Funeral Service in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Raphoe, followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard. The funeral service can be viewed live on Craig’s Media Facebook page www.fb.me/rhv.northwest

Danielle Longmore, Wicklow and Donegal
The death has taken place peacefully on February 8, of Danielle Longmore, née Honan, of Wicklow and formerly of Donegal, after bravely fighting cancer for 13 months, while on her last adventure to Palermo, Sicily.
She is missed by her parents Clare and Frank Honan, of Falcarragh, her sisters Carla (Barry and Alex Sheehan), Rachel (Tom Franiuk), Nuala and her son Dylan, Katie and all her aunts and uncles and by her mother and father-in-law Lillian and Martin and the extended Longmore family, and her wide circle of friends.
Her remains will repose at the family home (A63 X651) from 1pm until 8pm on Thursday and Friday. People attending the family home (A63 X651) at Oaklawn View are requested to park at the Newcastle Community Centre. House private thereafter.
Removal on Saturday at 1.20pm to St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, walking from the credit union, arriving for a funeral service at 2pm after which Danielle will be laid to rest in Kilquade New Cemetery. In keeping with Danielle’s wishes those attending are requested to wear bright colours. The funeral service will be streamed.
Patrick Mc Gee, Derrybeg
The death has taken place at his home of Patrick (Logie) Mc Gee, Lunniaghbeg, Derrybeg.
His remains are reposing at his home. Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am.

Bridie McDonald, Quigley’s Point
The death has taken place at the Donegal hospice of Brigid (Bridie) McDonald (née McNally), Three Trees, Quigley’s Point, F93 P590.
Loving wife of Patrick and beloved-mother of Michael, Tommy, Paddy, David, Rose, and James. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, wide family circle and friends.

Denis Doherty, Culdaff and Dublin
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Denis Doherty, Croragh, Culdaff and formerly of Newcastle, County Dublin.
A retired Garda Sergeant, he was the beloved husband of Mary and father of George, Denis, Yvonne and Shaun. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, sisters Mary and Una and his brother George, his grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
Denis’s remains will repose at the home of his daughter, Yvonne, at Bunagee, Culdaff, from 4pm to 7pm on Monday. House is private outside of these times.
Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdafff, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Mary Kinsella, Ballyshannon and Dublin
The death has occurred of Mary Kinsella, née Dolan, Clondalkin and formerly of Ballyshannon. She passed away peacefully on February 17, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of all the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
Beloved wife of John and much-loved mother of Andrea and Paul, sadly missed by her loving husband, children, son-in-law Cameron, her adored grandchildren Olivia and James, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues in PEK Contract Flooring.
Funeral Mass Monday at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village followed by burial in Newlands Cemetery.

David Devine, Manchester and Lifford
The death has taken place in Manchester of David Devine formerly of Ballindrait, Lifford.
Funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 28 followed by a burial in Manchester.
