Frances Devenney, Ballindrait and Strabane

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Frances Devenney (née McGarrigle) Tober, Ballindrait and formerly of Strabane.

Beloved wife of the late Edmund, much loved mother of Edwina, Brendan, Sandra, Veronica, Emily, Edmund, Seamus, Detta, Emily, Liam, Eileen and Gary, and sister of Vera, Thomas, Brendan, Patricia, Joey and the late Rose, Noel, Patsy, Eileen, Celine, Anna, Jenny, Seamus, Detta, Emily, Brian and baby Eddie.

Her remains are reposing at her home.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 12.20pm for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 1pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam at: https://clonleighparish.com/webcam-watch-live/

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Donegal Hospice. Family time please from 11pm. to 11am.

Ellen Dobson, Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred peacefully at her late residence of Ellen Dobson (née Tease) Dromore, Kilmacrennan.

Predeceased by her husband Robert and brother John Tease, Milford, she is survived by son Lester, Dromore, daughter Sharon and partner Bryan, Belfast, sister-in-law Margaret Tease, Milford, cousins, nieces and nephews. Deeply saddened by extended family, good neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her residence.

Funeral service will take place in Trentagh Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 2pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral service can be viewed on https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100066871325579Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Kyle Mooney, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Kyle Mooney, 7 Roseville Heights, Killybegs. 

Sadly missed by his loving mother Martina and father Warren, sister Amber, brothers Colin and Calvin, step-brother Morgan, Granda Mick, Granny Mooney, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

His remains reposing at his residence from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday and on Thursday from 12noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.

Removal from his home on Friday morning at 10.30am for Funeral Mass at 11am in St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Mass will be streamed live on www.mcnmedia.tv

Peggy Doherty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Doherty (née Callan) 1, Plunkett O'Boyle Terrace, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy and granddaughter Leanne. Deeply regretted by her sons Eamon and wife Katrina (Convoy), Paddy and wife Bridgeen (Killyclug) and Liam and wife Kathleen (Killyclug), daughters Marian (Letterkenny) and Lorraine and husband Brendan McLaughlin (Waterside, Derry), sister Esther Casey (Strabane) and brother Robert Callan (St Eunan’s Tce., Letterkenny), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence on Wednesday from 12 noon to 9pm with Rosary at 9pm on both nights. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Thursday going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Patsy Harvey, Mountcharles

The death has occurred eacefully in the care of the staff of the Hospice, Letterkenny, surrounded by his loving family, of Patsy (Patrick) Harvey, Drimnaherk, Mountcharles, and Birmingham, England.

Dearly beloved husband of Rose, father and Dad to Angela (Michael), John (Anna), Sarah (Amnon), Rosemary (Richard), Patrick (Abigail) Pamela (Ryan), Grandad to Anthony, Ryan, James, Ethan, Joanna, Adam, Patrick, Rosalie, Mai and Caolán. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Steve, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law David, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

His remains are reposing at his home on the Hill, Drumnaherk, Mountcharles, F94 T9W7 with Rosary at 9pm. Family time after 10pm.

Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Thursday at 2pm in the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Drimarone with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice Letterkenny or Oncology/Haematology unit, Letterkenny Hospital or any family member.

Mary Donohue, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Mary Donohue, Forquar, Milford.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Wednesday from 12 noon until 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Chanise Gill, Clonmany

The sudden death has occurred of Chanise Gill, Mindoran, Clonmany.

Beloved daughter of Denise McDaid and Pat Gill, much loved sister of Ryan and Dylan. Loving granddaughter of Dennis and Kathleen, Paddy and Sheila. Sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and wider family circle

Her remains are reposing at her grandparents, Dannis and Kathleen McDaid’s home in Mindoran, Clonmany. Wake private to family close friends and neighbours only please. Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Thursday morning at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery. The funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/clonmany

Detta McDaid, Burt

The death has occurred of Detta McDaid, Ballymoney, Burt.

Lovingly missed by her husband Danny, daughters and sons Pauline (McDermott), Daniel, Barry, Nicola (McDaid), Paul, Lynda (Diver) and Ciara (Williams McDaid) sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Sadly missed by her brother and sister Gerald McCay and Sister Conleth and nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at her late residence from 11am Wednesday and all day Thursday. Follow the signs for one-way system in operation. House private please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving her late residence on Friday morning at 10.20am going to St Aengus Church, Burt for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Burt cemetery.

Edward O'Donnell, Bunbeg

The death has taken place at Dungloe Community Hospital of Edward O'Donnell, Magheraclogher, Bunbeg.

Predeceased by his sisters Bridget, Mary and Sarah, brothers Dana, Paddy, Jimmy, Micky and Hugh and nephews Neil, Michael and Paddy; sadly missed by his niece Margaret, nephews Conn and Johnny and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92DN4X) from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, with Rosary at 8pm and again on Friday, from 5pm to 6.45pm.

Removal afterwards to St Mary's Church, Derrybeg for 7pm to repose overnight.

Malachy Crossan, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Malachy Crossan, Grianan Park, Buncrana.

Beloved husband of Ann Crossan and dear father of Lisa, Enda and Orlagh; and grandfather of Daniel, Patrick, Matthew, Cathal Og, David, Kate, Grace, Maebh, Anna, Louise, Bobby and Beth; sadly missed by his brothers, family circle and friends.

His remains reposing at his residence. House strictly private please.

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am going to St Mary's Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill cemetery.

Joe 'Teish' Gallagher, Falcarragh

The death has taken place in Falcarragh Community Hospital of Joe 'Teish' Gallagher, Upper Dunmore, Falcarragh.

Survived by his wife Bridie and sons Daniel, Seamus and John, and daughters Patricia and Christine; sadly missed by his brother John and sisters Margaret and Nellie and his grandchildren and extended family.

His remains are reposing at his late residence in Upper Dunmore, Falcarrragh. There will be a one-way system in place at the wake house. Rosary at 8pm.

Patrick Boland, Bunbeg

The death has taken place, in the Dungloe Community Hospital, in the loving care of the staff and surrounded by his family of retired member of An Garda Síochána, Pat Boland, Knockastoller, Bunbeg, originally from Swinford, Mayo.

Predeceased by his loving wife Bríd, he is sadly missed by his sisters: Antoinette, Helen, Mary and Joan, brothers: Seamus, Edward and Tom, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, neighbours, friends and former colleagues.

His remains resposed overnight at St Mary's Church, Derrybeg.

Kathleen Shiels, Glasgow and Fanad

The death occurred peacefully at her home in Glasgow on January 14 of Kathleen Shiels (née Friel), Glasgow, Scotland previously Tullyaconnel, Fanad.

Predeceased by her husband Neil and brothers and sisters. Loving mother of Evelyn (Rathmullan), RoseAnn (Oughterlin) and Michael (Glasgow). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her wide family circle and many friends. Great mother of Roseann, Evelyn and Michael and granny and great-granny.

Funeral on Wednesday morning at Blessed John Duns Scotus Church, Gorbals.
