Henry O Donnell, Carrickfinn and Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place of Henry O Donnell Carrickfinn and Glencar, Letterkenny.

Sadly missed by his mother Gerti and his sisters and his brother, also his son Christopher, daughter-in-law Aislinn and grandsons, his daughters Grainne, Roise, Siún, Laoise Saoirse and their mother Sinead, all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will repose at Mc Glynn's Funeral Home Chapel Road, Dungloe on Thursday from 2pm until removal to his home in Carrickfinn at 5pm. House is private Thursday and Friday night from 10 pm until 10am and also on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday in St Mary's Star of the Sea Church Annagry with cremation to take place at Lakelands crematorium Cavan at a later date.

Rose Marian McDonald, Moville 

The death has taken place at her home of Rose Marian McDonald, Carnagarve, Moville, F93 XP2D.

Her remains are reposing at her home.

Funeral mass will take place on Friday at 11am in St Pius X Church, Moville, followed by burial in Ballybrack cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.movilleparish.com

Paul Duncan, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Paul Duncan, Ballydevitt Beg, Donegal Town, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, wife Bridie, daughters Pamela and Carolyn and son Paul Gerard.

Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Nan, he will be deeply missed by his brother Hugh and sisters Mary and Kayt and his beloved grandchildren Lily and Oisín. Forever remembered by his extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Paul’s remains will repose at his late residence at Ballydevitt Beg, Donegal Town, F94 W4F1, from 3pm to 9pm on Thursday, and from 12 noon until 9pm on Friday. There will be a one-way system in operation - entry from the old Ballydevitt School/Ballydevitt crossroads, exiting onto the Glenborin/Letterbarrow road during wake times. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Removal on Saturday morning for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Killymard, Donegal Town, F94 C6T7 with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

Séan McCabe, Killygordon and Belfast

The sudden death has taken place of Séan McCabe, 5 Railway Close, Killygordon, (formerly Belfast) at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of ICU.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Maureen and brothers Tommy and Jim, he will be sadly missed by his devoted son Johnny (Donegal Town), daughter-in-law Lisa, daughter Loli, son-in-law Richard, grandchildren Finn and Anna, his brothers Frank and Pat, sisters Iris, Maureen, Jean, Margaret, Teresa, Kathleen and Patricia.

Sean’s remains will be reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar on Thursday from 3pm to 7.30pm.

Leaving the Funeral Home on Friday at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to a charity of your choice, c/o any family member or Martin McGowan, McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar.

Gloria McFadden, Manorcunningham

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice on Wednesday of Gloria McFadden, Abbey Villas, Manorcunningham.

Pre-deceased by her son Joseph in 2008. Deeply missed by her loving husband Joe and daughters Martina McElhinney, Noelle Brogan and Clara McElhinney, grandchildren Tristan, Shania, Codey, Jessica, Taylor, Jayden and Ammiyah, great-grandchildren Sophia and Freddie, sons-in-law Derek McElhinney and Kelvin McElhinney, sisters Bried, Veronica, Bernadette, Noleen, Anne, Mary and Kathleen, brothers Tony, Colm, Gerard and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Gloria’s remains are reposing at her daughter Martina and husband Derek McElhinneys’ home at Raymoghey, Manorcunningham F92 PX83 on Thursday from 11am until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral from there on Friday at 10am travelling via Manorcunningham Village (approximately 10.15am) and down the Noughs going to St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass, with interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

Pat O'Brien, Magheroarty

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Pat O' Brien, Magheroarty, Gortahork.

Predeceased by his wife Sadie. Survived by his brothers Tom and John, sisters Mary and Bried, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

Removal from Gortahork Funeral Premises on Thursday at 1.30pm going to his home in Magheroarty. Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Removal from there on Saturday for 11am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed live on https://mcnmedia.tv/camera/christ-the-king-gortahork

Ann Rogers, Scotland and Lettermacaward

The death has taken place of Ann Rogers (neé Cannon), Johnstone, Scotland and formerly of Farrigans, Lettermacaward.

Deeply mourned by her husband John, her son Dominick and family-Angela, Ciara & Rebecca, daughter Claire and David. Sadly missed by brothers; Tony, Michael and Colm, her sisters Mary, Dot and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and dear friends.

Margaret Breslin, Dunkineely

The death has occurred of Margaret Breslin (née Hanna), Brenter, Dunkineely, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Peter, daughters, Nicola and Clódagh, sons Conor and Michael, forever remembered by her parents Packie and Anna Hanna, her brothers Damien, Pauric, David and Mark. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law from the Hanna and Breslin families.

Her remains are reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (eircode F94WN24) on Thursday. House strictly private, please.

Funeral going to St Mary’s Church, Killymard, (Eircode F94C6T7) for 12noon Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Kathleen Nolan, Mayo, Galway and Malin Head

The death has occurred peacefully at home of Kathleen of Mayfield, Claremorris, County Mayo, formerly of Kiltormer, County Galway and Malin Head.

Predeceased by her son Hugh, she will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Alan, sons Brian, Shane and Barry, daughters-in-law Kate (Inisbofin), Sharon (Claremorris), grandchildren, her sister Sheila Woods (England), brother Ignatius (Carndonagh), sisters-in-law Ann and Marie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Thursday at 12.30pm to St Colman’s Church for Funeral Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery. 

John Gallagher, Laghey

The death has occurred peacefully, at his residence (Leeds, UK), of John Gallagher, Laghey.

Predeceased by his sister, Mary; sadly missed by his brother Michael and family (Shannagh), his sisters, Peggy (Peter Sweeney and family, Donegal Town) and Philomena (Bobby O'Hara and family, Lagheybarr).

Removal from Leeds after 5pm Funeral Mass on Friday evening in St Patrick's Catholic Church, which will be live streamed.

Remains via Pettigo at a time to be confirmed on Saturday, en route to the residence of his brother, Michael, Shannagh, Laghey, reposing at a time to be confirmed on Saturday and from 12 noon until 9pm on Sunday. House private on Monday morning please.

Removal on Monday morning to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral Mass may be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/ballintra

Andrew McLaughlin, Moville and Maghera

The death has occurred of Andrew McLaughlin, 149 Glen Rd, Maghera, Co Derry BT46 5JN and formerly of Moville.

Beloved husband of Mary (née Gallagher) and devoted father of Caoimhe. Son of the late Charlie and Peggy and brother of Sadie Travers, Margaret Cavanagh, Michael Gerard, Annemarie, Therese Lynch, Eamon, Caroline Irwin and Josephine O'Connor.
