Donegal-based Pumpskynz received a cheque from Three’s Grants for Small Businesses Programme.
Pumpskynz creates durable, eco-friendly and brightly designed covers for diabetes pumps – allowing users of diabetes pumps to personalise their device while also protecting against drops, bumps, cracks and scratches. The eco-friendly covers come in a range of colours and designs, including glitter and glow in the dark.
The company received a grant from Three’s Grants for Small Business Programme worth €10,000.
Pumpskyns try to make living with diabetes easier and that includes being proud of diabetes tech.
Founder Catherine Devine was diagnosed with type one diabetes in 2013. While dealing with the challenges of having to manage her diabetes daily, Catherine recognised the need for stylish and functional accessories for insulin pumps and diabetes technology.
The brand's aim is to create high quality silicone covers and accessories that not only protect medical devices but also empower individuals to embrace their diabetes with confidence and style.
