The man who has starred in 'The U.S Office', 'Despicable Me' and 'Anchorman' has been spotted touring around the Aran Islands.

Actor Steve Carell, 63, was enjoying the last of the Irish summer on Inis Meáin,  where locals were quick to spot the Hollywood legend.

Most famous for his role as Michael Scott in the hit US sitcom The Office, Steve travelled from Clare by ferry, to visit the Islands.

Locals working in the island’s only pub, Teach Ósta, welcomed Steve behind the bar to pull a pint of Guinness, a gesture synonymous with celebrity visits to Ireland.
