Host Patrick Kielty is preparing for another show in the hot seat on January 12 after a break
The Late Late Show will air on RTE for its first full episode of the new year tonight after there was no show last Friday.
The show schedule has been shaken up since Patrick Kielty replaced Rlyan Tubridy last September with a reduced number of shows being aired throughout the year.
Last week was one of the break weeks in a run of 30 shows for the season, which includes the recent Toy Show and New Year's Eve special. The country music special was also one of the special editions screened in this series.
This week, producers have been tight-lipped on Friday night's guest line-up so viewers have to keep a close eye on the RTE Late Late and Patrick Kielty's social media channels for some hints.
