RTÉ has released a trailer giving viewers a glimpse of its new six-part mini series that goes behind the scenes of the iconic Irish brand, Penneys.
The series, which premieres next Tuesday, January 9, starts where it all began, Penneys on Mary Street in Dublin.
While the retail staff are busy on the shop floor, above their heads is Arthur Ryan House, Global HQ of Penneys / Primark. It’s here all the planning, buying, designing, and strategizing is executed.
Inside Penneys is a new six-part series that takes us behind the scenes of the iconic Irish brand.

The planning of a major new store in Dundrum as well as expansion plans for its Patrick Street store in Cork, which is due a major facelift, feature in the first episode.
Viewers will also meet regulars James and Val for whom a trip to Penneys is serious business!
Inside Penneys can be seen on RTÉ One television and on the RTÉ Player at 8.30pm on Tuesdays
