RTE First Dates Ireland viewers shocked singleton didn't walk out over 'rude' date

RTÉ's First Dates returned to our screens last night and one guest was the topic of conversation over his 'rude' behaviour on the show. 

There was actually double success a number couples on the night as they confirmed a second date. 

But one of the participants, Ciaran, became something of a pantomime villian for his behaviour on the show. 

Some viewers suggested some less than charitable actions in response to his antics. 

And there was a lot of sympathy for his date, Hanson, with many feeling sorry for how uncomfortable he was made to feel. 

A number couples on the night confirmed a second date, however, even if Ciaran seems to have stolen the headlines. 

The second episode of the popular show airs on Thursday, January 11.
