Motorists and pedestrians are urged to remain vigilant and plan their routes accordingly to minimise disruptions

As preparations intensify for the appointment of Simon Harris as Taoiseach, and the resumption of Dáil Éireann, road closures have been enforced in key areas of Dublin city center to facilitate policing and traffic management.

The "rolling closures" are expected to remain in place throughout the day.

The affected areas include prominent thoroughfares such as Kildare Street, Merrion Square West, and Molesworth Street.

These closures aim to enhance security measures and streamline traffic flow around Leinster House, where the Dáil Éireann convenes.

"While Dublin City Centre remains open for business, rolling road closures may be implemented during the day," said An Garda Síochána.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to remain vigilant and plan their routes accordingly to minimise disruptions.

Dáil Éireann is due to adjourn at 7pm this Tuesday evening.
