National: Ex RTÉ star has 'full circle moment' with Irish fans in a bar in Australia

Ex RTÉ presenter Stephen Byrne had a chance reunion with two Irish fans in Sydney, Australia recently.

The Dublin native who departed the national broadcaster for the sunny skies of Australia last year took to Twitter, formerly X, to share what some users described as a 'full circle moment' for the former presenter and radio host.

In the post which has racked up over 1,200 likes, Stephen also shared two brilliant photographs of their two encounters, all of 13 years apart. 

It just goes to show that no matter where you go, you'll never be too far from another Irish accent.
