Travellers faced some delays and horsing around on their commute this Friday, after poorly-trained animals were led off the train tracks.
Iarnród Éireann says two trains were delayed by fifteen minutes on the Connolly to Maynooth line at approximately 10am due to a horse found on the wrong side of the tracks - and a cow on the platform.
To passengers’ relief, the rail service confirmed this afternoon that “Men and beasts safe and well”.
Irish rail concluded: "All in a day’s work for our great Infrastructure teams ."
