Irish Rail posted on social media that the dog is being cared for by staff at Heuston Station
Irish Rail have issued an appeal online for the owners of dog who stowed away on a train to the Big Smoke.
The tiny black and brown pup hopped on a evening train at Portlaoise Station in county Laois, bound for Dublin, on Friday evening, April 12.
"Last night, this sweet dog embarked on the 19:25 Portlaoise to Heuston service," the national rail provider posted on their official social media channels.
The pocket-sized passenger was found and is "being cared for by our staff from Heuston Station until we find its owner," according to Irish Rail.
