ALERT: Warning issued amid recall of children's teddy bears sold on TEMU due to choking risk

More than 120 of the Teddy Bear Plush Toy have been sold to customers across Ireland
A warning has been issued by the Consumer and Competition Protection Commission (CCPC) after safety concerns were identified with a Teddy Bear Plush Toy sold on the TEMU platform.
In a public notice, they say the risk reported is choking as the seams of the teddy bears can come apart.
"The fibrous stuffing material is then accessible and can be ingested by a small child which poses a choking hazard," reads the notice.
According to the CCPC, the model number is YJCRIEIG and the identification number is 7131914370. The Goods ID is 601099546642677 and all batches of the product are affected by the recall.
It is believed there are approximately 123 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
Customers are being advised they should stop using the product immediately and that they should also keep it out of the reach of children.
