The following deaths have taken place:

Charlie Fitzgerald, Old Road, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Charlie Fitzgerald, Old Road, Mountcharles.

He passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, after a long illness, aged 16 years. Charlie's remains will be reposing at his late residence at Old Road, Mountcharles on Tuesday, October 17, from 6pm until 8pm. 

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 18, in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. 

Dorothy Alcorn, 2 Bluestack Drive, Drimarone, Letterbarrow

The death has occurred of Dorothy Alcorn, 2 Bluestack Drive, Drimarone, Letterbarrow. 

She passed away peacefully, at Letterkenny University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Ernie, sons Billy and Derrick and daughter Jean.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Joanne, Andy, Mary, Harry, Terry, Jacqueline and Tracey, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at Gallagher's Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 from 5pm until 8pm.

Mrs Margaret (Maggie) Murray, Keadue, Kincasslagh

The death has occurred in her own home of Mrs Margaret (Maggie) Murray, Keadue, Kincasslagh, F94 W544.

Her remains are reposing at her home from Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 from 11am to 9pm.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

House private from after the Rosary until 11am and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Acres with interment afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.

Rosaleen Houston, née Gormely, 252 Town Parks, Convoy and Raphoe

The sudden death has taken place of Rosaleen Houston, née Gormely, 252 Town Parks, Convoy  F93AWPT, formerly of Tullyvinney, Raphoe.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, sister Marie, brothers Philip and Ambrose. Sadly missed and deeply loved by her daughter Karen, brother Liam and sister-in-law Sadie, nieces, nephews and wider family circle also the Wilson and Breen families, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains will repose at her late residence from this evening Monday, October 16 at 7pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Convoy, followed by burial in the family plot in the old graveyard.   

Noel Devenney, Raymochy, Manorcunningham

The sudden death has taken place at his home  of Noel Devenney, Raymochy, Manorcunningham F92 K2XS.

Deeply missed by his loving mother Isobel, sisters and brothers Maureen, Sadie, Michael, Eamonn, Isobel and Tina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Noel’s remains will repose at his late home on Monday, October 16 from 7pm until 10pm and on Tuesday, October  17 from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.  Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 18 at 10.15am travelling via Manorcunningham Village going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass.  Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Family time on the morning of the funeral, please.

Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Paramedic Section at Letterkenny Ambulance Station c/o any family member.

Dominick (Dim) Catterson, Grahamsland, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of Dominick (Dim) Catterson, Grahamsland, Castlefinn at Brindley Manor, Convoy.

Dominick’s remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 11:30am, going to St Mary’s Church, Castlefinn for 12pm Requiem Mass, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the Funeral.

Marie Chambers, Glasgow and Dungloe

The death has occurred of Marie Chambers (née Gallagher), Glasgow, formerly of Dooey, Dungloe. She passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband Vincent, son Joe and daughter Martina by her side.

Daughter to the late Josie and Mary Kate Gallagher, sister to Francis, Pat and Jim, Nana to Cliodhna, Aaron, Eva, Nathan, Ethan and Mya, mother-in-law to Amanda and Stephen and friend to many.

Viewing will take place on Saturday at Anderson Maguire, 15 - 17 Hamilton Street, Glasgow, G42 0PL between 2pm and 4pm.

The funeral will take place at 9.30am on Monday at Holycross RC Chapel, 113 Dixon Ave, G42 8ER thereafter to the Linn Crematorium, 413 Lainshaw Drive, G45 9SP. Family flowers only, please.
